As we continue to dive deeper into our walk with God we realize that Church is not a hiding place but a rallying place to get fired up for the next mission Our only objective in life  is that people discover Jesus so how we represent Him is going to be more effective out in the world that inside the walls of the church. In order to complete this mission we have to stand on the truth that we are both kings in ruling but also kings in waiting, so as we are expectant to God to take us to that “next big thing” we can still influence the atmosphere of where we are at.
Here are some things to think about as we continue to reflect the light of Christ:

1 Sometimes our lack of promotion is just a season of preparation.

2 To bring glory means to excel in whatever it is we do and that excellence will speak to people.

3 We have to be overt and covert at the same time.

It’s our mandate to change this city and to change this country for the Lord. A city on a hill cannot be hidden the word says, which means that if each of us collectively shine the light that has been given us, together we make a massive impact on the darkness that surrounds us. We often feel ineffective because we are isolated but look around you and see that you have been placed in a body that is running this race alongside you!

Application -
Where are you positioned: a job, your family, your friends. How can you begin to bring that unique light into their lives?

Prayer -
Father help me reflect the light of Jesus on to those around me. I pray that I will excel in all the skills you have given me and in that process that I will bring you utmost glory. Help me see this season of preparation as the training grounds for what you have in store for the future! In Jesus Name!

Our dreams can never know the power of resurrection unless they experience some sort of death. All of us want to live but very few of us want our dreams to die and in this walk we find that if they die they actually go into His hands and in His hands there is resurrection power. In order to share in his blessings we have to choose to share in his suffering! It’s his humanity that draws us closer to him but it’s his divinity that transforms the humanity in us and this transformation is the “process” that we all go through.

The process is painful but here are somethings that we can take heart in knowing: Even Jesus prayed to forfeit the process before the promise, but in that prayer He chose God’s way! The pain will only affect one person but the process will birth something that will impact the lives of many.

Jesus passed the test because He knew  that God was ordering His steps. He clung to trust even when pain was imminent.

All of us must go to the wilderness alone and it’s there that we will get prepared and tested. The enemy will test us with our own promises without a process. The cost of the process is worth everything, just like the pain of labor is worth the baby in the end. So know that the steps give you the strength to hold the promise in the end. Jesus defeated the devil on the mountain but He fought the flesh in the garden. The ultimate fight is with ourselves but He shows us that the flesh can be conquered!

Application -How can you begin to give God worship through the steps your on? Can you choose God’s way over your way today?

Prayer - Father, the process has been painful. But I long to join in the suffering of Christ so that I may know the joy at the end. I worship and honour you for being God. Thank you for holding my life in your hands and for never giving into prayers that would help me cut corners in life. I give you my dreams and life knowing full well that you will lead me every step of the way. Amen

When we accept Jesus into our hearts we’re not waiting for anointing to hit us but we now become carriers of His Spirit. The heart is the center of our life and when we invite him into the center, this life is no longer subject to our old ways but it is now subject to His rule. By accepting Jesus we are saying yes to receiving all power, all authority and all of heaven that is waiting to back you up. This is what Jesus was trying to say when He said that we have been given the keys to the Kingdom. But sometimes we run into walls in this walk of faith and we begin to question that authority.

1. A wall is not an offensive weapon, it is a defensive tactic. If we've hit a wall it's not because the devil advanced on us but it's because you've advanced on him.
2. When we’ve reached the end of our faith it simply means we have come to the beginning of His
3. The enemy will lie to us from behind the wall and the only way to use the keys is to use God’s word. The truth of His word will set us free.

God wants to release His power in our lives, He wants His anointing that rests on to change nations. Jesus picked up the keys to death hell and the grave which He gave back to us in the form of salvation. We no longer have to shout down walls but we get to pick up the keys by opening the word and praying it over our homes and watch the power of heaven release us from our cages. Let’s not be Christians in cages for one more day, let's choose to be renewed and restored from now on!

Application: Have you run into walls with your life: with your faith, your life, your relationships, your ministries. How can you begin to unlock those cages with the truth?

Prayer: Father, protect my heart from the lies that the enemy has been whispering over me. As I’ve come to this wall in my life, remind me of the truth so that I may declare it. I no longer have to live with this oppression because victory was won on that cross! Thank you Lord for leading me to your truth!

Isaiah 43:18
Acts 2:17-21
Revelation 12:7-12
Revelation 1:14

Revival starts when you catch a new vision of the same old situation. As we prepare to take ground, the most important thing on this journey would be to forget the former things and focus in on what God is doing right here, right now. This fresh vision of our lives will open up our hearts to a move of God like never before and we are to be a church that is building the kingdom wherever we go, we need to remember the following:

  1. It is the power of the blood and the power of our testimony that will cause the shift in pain. People don’t connect to our promise they connect to our pain, like a puzzle piece, it's what was broken and missing in us that has created a space for someone to partner with us in life.

  2. God is bringing us to the dark places to bring the water out of us to bless those around us. Those rivers of living water will be more of a miracle when they come forth in a dry and desert place.

  3. We will never step out if we don't know who is with us, all of Heaven is backing us up and that should give us the boldness to preach revival. God came upon the heroes of faith so that they can carry the anointing into every situation. But unlike the heroes of the past, we have that anointing living within us and it has nothing to do with us!

We need to know how powerful our God is and then we need to know how much He loves us. We take all God’s power away if we continue to hate ourselves and if we cannot see that this all powerful God has left the powers of the universe to rest his hands on us we will forfeit this race. Revival is here and it starts with us!

Application:
Can we stop looking into the past and press into the future? If there past miracles and great moments in your life that have maybe turned into idols then ask the Lord to give you a fresh vision of the future today!

Prayer:
Father I pray that revival will break out in me today. I long to be used by you, at this moment. You’re not waiting for perfection because you are perfect. If it is a move of God it will only happen through broken vessels and the foolish things of this world. I ask that you move me out of the way so that you can reach the world around me, through me. In Jesus name!

Read-
Revelation 12:7
Luke 8:39
Titus 3:3
Colossians 3

We have to remember that more than just one man speaking from a pulpit, there is power in the word of our testimonies. When Legion was saved he wanted to follow Jesus but instead of going with Him he was asked to return home and proclaim the goodness of God. It’s time for us to go back to the place where we were broken so that we can proclaim the truth of Jesus and the power of His salvation.

Here’s why our testimony is important:

  1. God took the wages of sin that were piled up against us and he justified us by his grace to allow us step into a purpose that is greater than we can possibly imagine.

  2. The ark of the covenant used to be something that held the presence of God but now we are the ark of God, we have a story to tell.

  3. Religion has become the chains of bondage instead of sin but let’s witness through the Holy Spirit to those around us and help break the Spirit of Religion off.

We worship gifted people when our gifts are simply tools to build the house and to shine His light. Work on your gift, cultivate it but ask him to help you use it to honor Him . Jesus was about the Fathers business, that was his ultimate testimony. We are the arks that touch the city and we don’t need a mic to testify. Go get people saved and then invite them to church!

Application - How can you share your testimony with someone this week?

Prayer - Father give me the courage to share my testimony with those around me. I pray that you use every tool I have at my disposal to spread the truth of what you have done in my life.

Amos 9:12-5
Matthew 10: 29-31
Luke 12:6-7

Back in the day the sparrow was a pest in their towns and homes. It would build nests where it wasn’t supposed to, it was too quick to be caught, however there are places in the bible that the Lord tries to remind us about our worth through the picture of a Sparrow. The sparrow is both vigilant and joyful. God is looking for some people who are both stubborn and joyful, stubborn for the right things like the presence of God and joyful because of the fruit of the Spirit.

1. It’s because we are so fearful of other things but God, that we get angry and frustrated over our lives. When we are in awe of God it replaces all other awes!

2. Vigilance and Joy can be found in a firm foundation of the valley, the mountain top, in the presence of my enemies, the green pastures because God is everywhere.

3.The sparrow is a reminder of not who you are but whose you are. While people overlook the sparrow the Lord looks over it. Let’s focus on the nature and character of God and begin to enter His presence!

If a pest can live in our house rent free, trusting and living their lives because the Father who loves ALL takes care of them, how can we not believe that we are in good hands? God has not passed us over but he continues to push us forward in His plan. Run to him to receive that revelation and He will give you all you need!

Application:
Have you been feeling overlooked and forgotten? Do you have a hard time trusting God with the details of your life? How can you take one step closer to His truth today?

Prayer:
Father, how comforting it is to know that you are the Lord of a sparrow. I have failed to grasp the truth that I am worth anything to you so help me get to know you, so that I may see your character and nature and know in my heart that no matter where life takes me, I can trust you always!

Amos 9:13-15
Isaiah 60:1-3
Matthew 5:13
Micah 7:8

God is doing something with what you called dirt. There is going to come a time when the harvest is going to surpass the harvesters. We might be walking through a season of life that currently looks like dirt, this might lead us to look at the glory days that have passed and idols what the Lord has done, but God is wanting to remind His church that He is doing a new thing and here’s why:

  1. In the darkest times He longs to shine His light through us. The light of the Lord is violent against the darkness so instead of hiding that light, He wants us to be a city on a hill.

  2. The greatest burden, the greatest mission and the greatest passion should be to light the candle in our home.

  3. God told us that we are like salt, and just like salt we will never expire, never be able to get rid of our essence. In His hands we can be used to heal, to redeem, to restore and to enhance His will.

Many people have misunderstood the parable about the Salt. Jesus did not make a mistake when He said salt that loses its saltiness is worthless because the reality is that salt can scientifically never go bad. Just like that there isn't any expiration date on salt and there is no expiration date on your call. No matter how bad your life has been, you will always be valuable in the hands of God!

Application:
How can you begin to let the essence of God shine through you where He has placed you?

Prayer:
Lord because you have called me to be the salt and the light, help me embrace the reality of who I am. I am not to be hidden and forgotten, my purpose will not expire no matter what anyone says. Help me advance your kingdom and change the atmosphere of every setting you place me in, because that is what you’ve already called me to be!

In this season God is done calling us into the shallow. He doesn't care if you just got saved or if you're struggling with sin. He is not calling everyone of us to the deep because what we need it but because the food we need is in the deep end. Here are some things to consider with your relationship with God:

  1. God will always be able to use whatever you put before Him. But in order to see the fullness of God youwill need to give all of you.
  2. We need to replace our fear of man with the fear of the Lord. Only then will we be able to live a life free to operate in the authority He's given us.
  3. God emptied heaven to gain intimacy with us, although we've been fasting making room in our lives for His love will be the most fulfilling thing we do.

There will always be two types of people: Sauls or Peters. The difference between the two was this: one dealt with that fear of man the other dealt with immaturity and the pride of man. One repented and the other had a rebuttal. Remember that the same sun that melts wax hardens clay, so what will be your response when the Lord calls you to a greater level of intimacy with Him!

APPLICATION:

What would you pray for if you knew that God was backing your words from heaven? How different would your life be if you knew that everything you spoke had authority and weight. You can get that way if you allow God to be the number one priority in your life!

PRAYER:

Father I'm asking you to take me deeper. Forgive me for any area of disobedience in my heart, I know you've asked for all of me and I may have only let you in on some of my heart. I want all of me to be consumed by all of you!

Luke 1:13-20
We live in a day and age where there are many things that come against us. However, just like the seven sons of Sceva we might go after strongholds thinking we have the authority only to realise that we don’t. The only way to become a generation that walks in releasing the power of God is to remember the following:

  1. We can’t get authority from God if we don’t have intimacy with God.

  2. We need a generation who know how to linger in the presence of God.3. Vision will come when we stand in the presence of God. Our identity and our authority should be the result of our intimacy with the Lord whereas our doubts and fears will be a manifestation of our distance from Him. So wherever you are today on your journey, press into His presence and ask the Lord to teach you how to spend time with Him!Application:

Do you find yourself rushing out of the presence of God? When was the last time you sat and lingered in His presence?Prayer:
Father, teach me how to sit with you. I long to be beside you and I’m sorry for the letting life’s distractions get in the way of intimacy with you. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear your still small voice, and help me draw closer to you daily!

The church is so powerful because it is through our unity that we get to bombard hell with the power and the authority the Lord has given us to overcome strongholds. When Peter was in prison the church prayed very earnestly for him and although they were uncertain of what was gonna happen they were going to pray and believe and trust that God will come through. Prayer moves through time and space and moves through all natural boundaries so that God can meet His super with our natural. Here are some reasons as to why we pray together:

  1. We pray when there is nothing else we can do in the natural

  2. We pray so that we can carry each other’s burdens

  3. We pray so that we can attack the problem before it attacks us.We might have to keep contending and we might have to keep pursuing Him but we intercede until He intervenes. Keep praying because we could be one prayer away from praying the walls down. Most people lust after the picture of the promise but want nothing to do with the process of what it takes to get to that place, so let’s let the power of prayer transform us today!Application -

Do you have a hard time praying both by yourself and corporately? How can you begin to build up a habit of prayer in your life?Prayer -
Father help me stay persistent in prayer. Let me see how incredibly powerful the weapon of prayer is and show me how to wield it consistently in my life. I long to pray with power and authority because as children of God, prayer needs to be our source! In Jesus name, Amen.

Read -
1 Corinthians 13:11
Ephesians 6:10
Genesis 1:1-31, 2:8-25God made the environment and then He places the things that need to survive in that environment. When He created Eden He created us after, to place us in that environment because that is the thing we needed the most. Like a fish out of water we will not survive out of His presence. The enemy does everything he can to get us out of the environment we were designed to be in, because we are made from dirt and spirit there’s a constant battle between our flesh and our spirit. That battle is won in the mind and in order to win we must put aside the following childish thought patterns:

  1. Personalizing Everything - Not everyone is mad at you.

  2. Magnifying Thoughts - Making mountains out of mole hills.

  3. Everything is Awful - Expecting the worst out come.
  4. Jumping to Conclusions - Assuming the end result.
  5. Mind Reading - Thinking that you know other’s motives.
  6. Negative Filters - Using the lenses of past hurts.
  7. Emotional Reasoning - Letting your emotions be your guide.
  8. Blame Game - When it’s everyone else’s fault but yours
  9. Selective Thinking - Picking and choosing your narrative

10. Closed Minded - Seeing things only your way.Prayer is the one thing that can change our thoughts because in prayer we get to put on the mind of Christ. Prayer is learned by praying and it takes persistence from us in order to yield results. It is in prayer that we enter Eden which is God’s open door into His presence. As we renew your minds in His word we will find our whole life changing!Application -
What are some childish thought patterns that you need to break from your thinking? How can you begin to pray into a new direction today?Prayer -
Father as I go on this journey to mature in my Spirit, I ask that you reveal all childish thoughts that are deeply rooted within my heart. Give me the courage to face my immaturities and allow you to prune and grow me. I pray that I will begin to put aside childish ways and stand firm in your truth today!

Ephesians 2:1-22
Ecclesiates 6:1-12
Romans 11:29
Pslams 78:41

God has a plan even for the most broken parts of us since Day 1. The only thing the Lord asks of us to take care of though, is what He has given us. God gives us a destiny but He asks us to be a part of the destiny He has for us. We are the only ones that can limit God in our lives, but in 2024 what if we removed those limitations and watch God do the impossible!

  1. What you decide to do will be based on the vision you have for your life.

  2. God makes us master creators because we are His masterpiece

  3. To create room for God thoughts you have to bring all other thoughts to His throne

  4. Between your call and your destiny are choices that build your character.

  5. Growing up means we put away toys and pick up tools!

It’s time for us to be people that are real, that have Holiness and are shaped after His character. Only then can we hold the weighty destiny that He has for us. God doesn’t want us to burn and fizzle out but He’s wanting us to leave a legacy. God is calling us into maturity this year as a group of believers so let's make that decision as a family today!

Application:
What are some decisions you have to make that will help your character transform to look more like Jesus?

Prayer:
Father I’m thankful that in this New Year, I can truly become a new version of me. I’m praying for new thoughts, new visions and I’m asking that you develop the fruit of my Spirit so that I can develop the character necessary to hold the destiny that you have for me!

Read
Jeremiah 29:11
John 11:1-27

2023 has been a year filled with triumphs and trials, but as we step into the New Year there is something we need to be sure of: “Are you a believer in crisis?”

We know what we love to do when Jesus answers our prayers, but what do we do when we go through trials? No one posts about the bad things, we focus on the highlights of our relationship with God. But what happens when you pray and fast and He doesn’t answer in the time that you were expecting.

In 2024 we are aiming to remember these truths:

  1. Delay is not Denial it is in fact the very thing that will reveal the Destiny of our lives

  2. We can muster a “Even Now” faith that stands on the truth of who God is instead of the frustration we feel at His delay.

  3. Our tears water the seed and connect us to one another, but our testimony will bring new life to all those who need to hear it!

Let's lead the Lord to the place where our faith died so that He can show us the truth of who He is. We might have prayed a dangerous prayer like “God use my life” and now we have to wait through broken dreams. But God will never fail of His promise of a Hope and a Future for our lives. For the believer, a certain death is not the end; it's merely a graduation of our Faith!

Application -
What are some dreams that have died in your life? Can you believe that even now God can come through for you? How can you lead Him to that place of pain, so that He can restore you today?

Prayer -
Father, I thank you that you are God who has good plans for me. Although I thought that I was overlooked, forgotten or left to mourn the loss of my dreams, I thank you that even now, your word can go forth and bring new life in me. I believe that your timing is perfect and that has in fact been no delay. I pray that my testimony brings you all the glory and I stand on your miraculous move today!

GALATIANS 5:1-26 | MATTHEW 7:3-5

Although Christianity is classified as a religion, the Jesus we know did not come to start a religion. Jesus was not talking to His disciples about a religion, He used every parable to teach us about family and to represent relationship.

As children of God we need to be careful because we start with relationship and somewhere down the line we all fall into religion.

Here are a few ways to catch our religious mindsets:

  1. Remember that we have so much to work on in ourselves that we don't need to judge anyone else.
  2. Removing the plank in your own will give you clarity and the vision of love.
  3. Removing the plank is hard work but you have to be prepared to do it.
  4. God set us free from the law, for us to pursue freedom and the fruit of the spirit.
  5. Done focus on not sinning but focus on the freedom that God have us go step into the throne room of grace.

The world and the church love to condemn those that pursue Christ. So if you ever feel like stepping out in judgment ask yourself how criticising someone is loving them.

APPLICATION:

Have you been judgemental lately? Thinking things like "this sermon is perfect for__"

How can you begin to repent and ask God to speak to the areas of

your heart that need strengthening today!

PRAYER:

Father forgive me for my flesh and my judgemental heart. I ask you to reveal the planks in my eyes so I can continue see your love more clearly. In Jesus name, amen.

1 TIMOTHY 6:6-11 | EXODUS 16:16 | 1 SAMUEL 16: 11-13 | NUMBERS 17:32-36

A sense of contentment bleeds into every aspect of how we operate in this life. It's possible for us to be set free but desire to go back to our old lives simply because it's comfortable! God is okay with the moments of doubt if we can overcome with Faith in knowing who He is.

There are many reasons why we can get discontented in this life so here are three traps of discontentment.

  1. Discontentment clouds our judgement

2. Discontentment convinces us that what we have is never enough

3. Discontentment doesn't give us time to rest

The enemy is constantly trying to get us to control our circumstances when the Lord is only wanting us to be in control of our contentment. Here are the three things to know about contentment:

  1. Contentment brings favor

2. Contentment brings confidence

3. Contentment brings clarity

When we get used to just "enough" we will be excellent with all we have in front of us. We won't need armor to slay giants because we know that God can use us with what we have in our hands. Remember we can be expectant but remain content in every season as we trust in the Lords timing!

Application - We can be accepted by God but rejected by man. It's one or the other but which one are we pursuing? What we pursue will determine where our contentment lies.

Prayer - Father I long for you not just to be my savior but for you to be Lord over my life. I want to fix my eyes on you so that I can be content in every season. Remove all the worldly distractions and help me take all thoughts of discontentment captive!

PHILLIPIANS 4:4-13 | ROMANS 8:38 | 1 TIMOTHY 6:6 | 2 CORINTHIANS: 11:23-30

Discouragement is like a downhill walk, it doesn't take much effort and you barely notice how far you've walked until you realize that there is a moment that you might have to turn around and trek up back hill. But the beautiful thing is God want's to give you the priceless possession of Joy, something that no matter what life may throw at you, it won't be able to steal from you.

Here are some things to remember about a state of discontentment:

  1. The devil is after your worship, and discontentment is a lack of worship
  2. Satisfaction lies in the fact that in Jesus, you have it all.
  3. God provides a way out of discontentment by giving us His strength to lean on.
  4. The secret to contentment is having awareness of Him in every situation.

Discontentment is a manifestation of pride in our lives and it was that pride that made the great heroes of faith turn their back on God only to realize that He was all they needed at the bottom. Remember one day we will be worshiping Him and not showing off our trophies in Heaven, but we don't have to wait to get to Heaven to find the treasure of life right here, right now.

APPLICATION -

Your contentment is a matter of pursuit, so take a moment to look at what you are chasing that you already possess!

PRAYER -

Father, I know that you have already given me the greatest treasure in life.

Thank you for the gift of your relationship. Help me pursue you today in spirit and in truth, show me glory so that I can see that I'm not missing anything in life.

1 Timothy 6:6-12The enemy wants to rob you of now. He wants to empty today by causing you to worry about tomorrow, but a heart at peace is what we need to long for, because what we go through emotionally will affect you physically!Your pain gives you power to preach more effectively if you can learn to be content at “empty”. Because if you can’t be content at the end you will never be content at full. Because it’s not about being filled it’s about being fulfilled. Here are four things to know about contentment:Contentment must be learned.
Contentment is a choice.
You can have contentment on empty
Contentment is the good fight of faithThe only thing that can bring you contentment is not found here. When we leave this world we will not be taking anything with us, but a change in our focus will allow us to make it through this life.Don’t beat yourself up for being discontent, but ask God to help you see the things you can be grateful for in this moment, and you can rejoice like the wordApplication -
What are some areas in your life that you have envy and discontentment? What can you be thankful for instead in your life?Prayer - Father, I’m so grateful for the life you have given me. Allow me to see all that you’ve already set your hand to in my life because I know that everything has purpose! I discard discontentment from my life and I choose to fix my eyes on you! Have you ever had a small wound that hurt a lot more than you think it would? Have you heard the statement "time heals all wounds?" The reality is time heals surface level scratches but time does not heal anything that cut deep. If we are not intentional about our healing, we will only sit there with an open festering wound. In order for us to have a Sound of Freedom, we must go through the Process of Healing.

"Stop the bleeding" - pressure from the right covering and leadership will help you stop the initial bleeding of a wound. Come as you are but don't live that way when God has called you to freedom!

  1. "Remove the Junk" - this looks like forgiving those that hurt us. We carry unforgiveness to a point that allows our wounds to fester! Instead of blaming others let's ask God for what He's doing in that situation!
  2. "Full the void" - God wants to fill you with new life. He wants us to become whole so that we can be full of His purposes.
  3. "The Maturing Begins" - this is when the covering comes off, because to complete your healing you need honesty and vulnerability with the right people.

APPLICATION- have there been areas in your life that you have refused healing? Can you embrace the pain today and allow yourself to finally move forward in life!

PRAYER- Father, search my heart and create are a right Spirit within me.

Surround me with the right people that will help my healing process, but ultimately lead me to you and your truth. I no longer want to live this way, I need your help and I need your guidance. In Jesus Name!

Read
Matthew 24:10-13
Proverbs 18:19
Luke 17:6
John 15:15In the last days there will be many people who will start getting offended and end up hating those around them. Everyone thinks betrayal is like Judas betraying Jesus but in reality, we begin to betray those we’re in relationship with, as the beginnings of self-protection. Offense is the bait of Satan that is meant to pull you, the believer, into his captivity. Here are some things that happen with offense:

  1. Your roots do not stop growing. Offense never shrinks when left alone.
  2. Offense feeds from a source. If you’re watering your hurt, it’ll keep rising up.
  3. It kills your potential. If you don’t kill offense, it will kill you.
  4. It produces bitter fruit. What’s inside will eventually come out.
  5. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small thing, deal with it now because it will bring division!

Christianity involves us being in relationship with the one who let go of ALL offenses that we cast on Him. And by breathing we will have every opportunity to be offended but instead of getting bitter, let’s make up our mind to get better. Don’t waste your life, forgive, let go, and let His light shine through your pain.Application:
Ask God to search your heart in this moment. Are there an hidden offenses that you need to deal with?Prayer:
Lord, I pray that you pull out the root of this offense. I don’t want my love to grow cold so help me forgive those that have hurt me so that I can walk in freedom. Protect my heart from the bait of Satan, that is offense, and cover me with your love today! In Jesus name, Amen.

Acts 3:1-12 NKJV | Acts 3:16 NKJV | Acts 4:1-14 NKJV

The Holy Spirit does not inhabit someone that is dead. He longs for his body (the church) to come alive because it was for life that He gave His own. When religious spirits tell you to turn it down, the Holy Spirit reminds us that the rocks will cry out! Here are some reasons to rebuke a religious spirit:

  1. Religious spirits will burden you down with a a form of godliness without power! If we're to be a church of Jesus Christ we have to shake off the religion!
  2. Our best miracles will be in the crowd. We're meant to walk slow through a crowd. The greatest miracle could happen at the gas station when you're filling up your tank!
  3. Religion can argue with an ideology or options but they cannot argue with a testimony.
  4. Religion will have you focused on the destination that you miss the journey.

The exclamation point to your story will be found along the way.A real encounter with God will make the dysfunctional function, so let's not be a part of church that only works in a room where one man talks and let's be the church outside in the crowd!

APPLICATION:

Have there been some areas in your life that you've struggled without becoming religious? How can you begin to let the truth of His word change you today.

PRAYER:

Father, I rebuke a religious spirit. I long to walk in love, power, and authority. I want to be discipled by you. I want to walk slow through the crowd so that I can allow your Spirit to change this world through me!

Jesus name, Amen.

We’re called to go into the world but not be in the world. We must remember that although God might placed us in places, we must lean on Him for protection and wisdom. God is looking for a group of people to get out of the building and go into the darkest places to preach the gospel. The same commission that God the Father gave Jesus the son, Jesus gives us.
  1. Remember that God wants a church of power and the enemy wants to stop that.
  2. The devil works overtime to keep us comfortable in church but we are called to the world.
  3. We’re called to conquer every industry so go boldly and declare Gods glory everywhere!
  4. Instead of doing what we thought God wants, let’s read the word and find out where He’s calling us to go!
Jesus is okay with where you’re at and He will love you to where you’re called to be. Remember that we have authority over every atmosphere and it’s time for us as the church to step out and preach the gospel with our lives.
Application:
Have you had a hard time declaring God in the world that God has placed you? How can you begin to practice that today?Prayer:
Lord, help me preach the word to all those around me. You’ve redeemed me to redeem others and I’m grateful for your patience and passion towards me! I need your love so that I can bring that to the world! In Jesus name, Amen.

Out of our misery comes our ministry. The greater the pain, the greater the power. It doesn’t matter who we are because our suffering is so that we can be called to help others. So let’s not get bitter with what we go through but allow others to benefit from the perseverance of our faith. But the enemy wants us to be stuck in a victim mentality so that we can get stuck focused in ourselves. We need to stop being hooked in our pain and give it to God.Things thats happen when we get stuck:1. Being stuck in Egypt is not necessarily a location but a mindset. Don’t get stuck in your past!

  1. When we don’t have confidence in the Lord we become a complainer. To complain about God is to declare that we don’t trust Him.

  2. We don’t get delivered because the truth is we don’t want to be. But we have to put away childish things and move on from that past.

  3. There’s a level of vulnerability that is required to being delivered.Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. What the means is that we don’t have to live In that wilderness season, we don’t have to be victims, we can gain all comfort through Christ so let’s boldly step into that healing today!

Matthew 18:21-35

Forgiveness is not about keeping score, it’s about loosing count. The enemy’s plan is to keep us bound up in our offense, anger, and rage so we cannot walk into the fullness of what God has for us. We gotta serve an eviction notice to the enemy’s lie and release our pain and know that through Jesus we can receive healing from the inside out. Forgiveness is not acting like nothing happened, it’s saying this pain will no longer control me.Things to know about unforgiveness:

  1. Unaddressed hurt can turn into hate.
  2. If we do not heal what hurt us, we will bleed on those that never cut us.
  3. Everything we do, doesn’t only affect us but also everyone around us.

Things yo know about forgiveness

  1. Forgiveness is not excusing the behavior but it’s saying, that behavior won’t destroy our heart anymore.
  2. Taking pain caused by people to God in prayer will always change our perspective.
  3. Our blessings come with how we handle forgiveness.

Repentance leads to God’s forgiveness in the kingdom. When we ask for forgiveness, Jesus gives it to us. We should able to forgive those that hurt us, as many times as Jesus would forgive us for our sins. If we have been forgiven, we should be able to forgive those who hurt us. Forgiveness allows us to heal from our pain. We have to be healed so those wounds can turn into scars and we can tell the word, “I know how it’s like to be hurt, but I also know what its like to be healed.” This is how we break out of the prison of unforgiveness.

Application: Have you found yourself stuck in the prison of unforgiveness because of the pain you’ve experienced? What wounds of you need to allow to heal, so you can walk in the fullness of what god has for you? Who do you need to forgive today to begin healing from the inside out?Prayer:
Lord, I repent for harboring unforgiveness in my heart towards those that have hurt me. I realize that my unforgiveness has stopped you from doing all that you want to do in my life and through me. I forgive those who have hurt me and ask that you begin to heal me from that pain. Today, I chose to break out of the prison I have been stuck in. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Heaven is looking for a miracle to take place here on earth. But sometimes miracles can only come through our yes. Saying yes doesn’t mean life will get easier or more fun but it will be fulfilling. Everyday is a great position to worship to Him. There will be some days that the yes comes easy and some days, our yes will come with a fight but in all seasons, we’ll continue to choose to make a commitment to Christ.

  1. A yes in heaven is a no to other things, but it will always be a trade up.
  2. Even Christ Jesus had to say yes to God in the midst of rejection.
  3. We will have to say yes to looking foolish in a godless world but that is the heroes journey.
  4. It’s time to put boundaries on our past self and release God from the box we’ve put him in.
  5. Sometimes to say yes, we’ll need friends that will not allow us to stay in our no.

Faith, courage, hard work, & persistence are the four things that we’ll need to say yes over and over again. Every hero in the bible said yes, so why are we still saying no? The word is honest and true and it stands when it says the righteous will never go forsaken and our hunger for Jesus will drive us to a new level!Application: What are somethings that God is asking you to say yes to, that you’ve said no to? Are you missing any of the 4 quadrants to be successful, if yes, how can you begin to work to grow in that?Prayer: Father, I say yes and amen with my life. I realized that it’s my yes that releases the miracles. Thank you for your patience with me but I pray that I won’t delay your plan any longer. Let your kingdom come and your will be done in my life. In Jesus name, Amen!

The Pioneering Church

We’re so grateful for the pioneers and revivalists of the past but God is calling those in this generation to help bring His kingdom to earth!
To the level we honor God, is the level that we’ll experience His glory. And the way we honor, is the way we’ll perceive Him! For that reason Joshua and Caleb were able to make it through to the end. Despite the giants they faced, despite standing out from the crowd, and despite the battles, they always knew how to Honor God.We have been called to pioneer in this generation but that will come with a few challenges:1. Pioneering will cause us to breakout of old mindsets, that keep us trapped in Egypt.2. God might not give us the full picture but the giants in our promise land were left behind so we can lean on God.3. Sometimes God allows things so that He can prepare us for endurance. Because it is our character that produces hope!4. God is not creating slaves. He is creating sons because sons get to be a part of the journey.Know that it’ll be hard. Deliverance was instant but freedom is a process that will cost us everything! Don’t quit in the middle of stepping into your promise land because of the giants you’ve seen but embrace the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.Application: Where in your life did you stop because you saw “giants” that seemed unconquerable to you? How can you begin to see the God of the giants in that situation today?Prayer: Father, I thank you for the spirit of love, power & a sound mind that will help me get through the wilderness into the next season. I pray that I leave old habits and mindsets behind and that I will press into you through the pain. I want to pioneer for you! In Jesus name, Amen.

Do we want to become more like Jesus Christ? Is there a passion to look more like Him?

When we receive Jesus something new takes place for us, in us, and as us. Christ wants to be the Center of our entire life. When He gets in all of who we are everything changes, but we have to be willing to give Him access to our entire being. Christian's these days don't want to go through anything. We don't want to endure; but if Jesus endured the cross, as His followers we will have to go through somethings because being a Christian ultimately means we will have to become pioneers but as pioneers we have to remember the following..If Christ is bold, I can be.

If Christ is courageous, I can be.

If Christ is compassionate, on I can be.

If Christ is creative, I can be.

If Christ is endurance, I can be.

If Christ is humble, I can be.

If Christ is persevere, 1 can be.

If Christ is passion for the lost, I can be.

If Christ is greatness, I can be.Ultimately, pioneering our life will be a lonely journey.

Don't be afraid of going some place alone and position our life to partner with God instead bringing along an Aaron that will eventually mess things up. Remember that God called us for great things and don't forget to dream and believe again for us and our family!

APPLICATION:

Do you want to make a difference more than you want to make it big? Do you long to be like the David's and Daniel's of old or are you okay with just being a part of the crowd?

PRAYER:

Father, I thank you so much for giving me a pioneering spirit. I pray that you give me strength to endure and show me that there is more to life than what I see. I want your kingdom come and your will to be done in and through my life! In Jesus name, Amen.

We were formed by God. We may look like our parents but we have The Fathers heart and calling in us. Some of us have been told that we were an accident. But God doesn’t make mistakes. Before God formed us in the womb. He molded us and carved out who we were. He designed us way before we were even a thought in our parents mind.God designed us and designed our destiny at the same time. If we don’t fit in, it’s because God designed us to be set apart. He made us different so we can seek for something greater than us. By not fitting in God reminds us of who we aren’t, so we can discover who we are. The more we compare ourselves to others, the more we’ll fail to be who we’re called. God put a call and destiny in our life not to fit in, so we can become leaders and pioneers. When you’re walking in the kingdom mindset you should know…

  1. Christ FOR you. He loves you at ALL times. His love is not bases on us, it’s based on Him.
  2. Christ IN you. We invite Him into every part of our life, good and bad.
  3. Christ ON you. Instead of putting on our old and dirty clothes. It’s time to wear and put on Christ.

When we’re in Christ we become everything He is. When we’re in Christ, He doesn’t see our failures because He turns them into our testimony. We need to put on the armor of Christ everyday. The armor is not some religious stuff, the armor of is Jesus, so we can’t forget to put ON Christ.Application:
Do you currently feel like you don’t fit in? What are some things that come to mind about who God has designed you to be? Are you currently walking in all 3 of the kingdom mindsets? If not, how can you begin to do that today?Prayer:
Father, Today I receive and believe that you’re FOR me, IN me, and ON me. I ask that you remove all the dead things and become the center of my life. Thank you for not only loving me but also liking who I am. I’m ready to discover all that you designed me to be. In Jesus name, Amen.

We want to be a church that is advancing the kingdom of God and one of the ways we do that is by partnering with the vision He imparts to His children.

Nothing great in life happens with one person alone, everything that's brought into this earth takes partnership and collaboration. Even a seed needs the soil to produce fruit.

What you do in the world is and can be ministry unto God.

Your time, talent, and treasure, is more than just for you to change the world around you.

Vision gives us something to look forward to and to work towards!

Even Jesus had people that partnered with His vision the men and women who had been set free of their demons, who then chose to be a part of a ministry that's setting someone else free!

Jesus didn't have tough skin but He had a tough source. As people, we will undoubtably hurt each other. Tough skin ruins our purpose and destiny because we wall up and build fences that end up imprisoning us. Vision rarely comes to prayer without the labor of great prayer because big vision requires God help. Here are some reasons as to why we pray:
1. The power comes when we put Gods word in your mouth so we not only read the word, but we pray the word.
2. You are a citizen of heaven and what you need to know is that you have a the authority to enter the throne room.
3. Out of all things the disciples saw Jesus doing, the only thing they asked for instruction on how to pray.
4. Don't forget your place alongside of Him. The king is not looking for you to show up in a king James prayer of perfection. He is looking for intimacy through prayer.
5. Wherever you're at God hears you, even if that prayer is worked out in fear and trembling. God hears your heart and not just words.
6. Some of the best words that you might say, might be said through tears but we can go to Him broken without our religious words and share our hearts to the father.
7. Of all the things God can do, the only thing the Lord cannot do is answer a prayer that you didn't pray. He is waiting on YOU to open your mouth and speak to the one who loves you.
We have lost the passion to learn how to pray so let's stir that up in our hearts today. You have to go to the prayer closet because out of that place will come the blueprints to change the world!

How many times have we been led to a mess by the Lord but we find Him resting in the middle of that mess? God's not frustrated like we are frustrated, He's not worried like we are worried. But there are three types of storms we will go through in life:

  1. Correcting Storms 2. Perfecting Storms 3. Perspective Storms

This is the type of storm that the disciples were in. This reveals a new aspect of the God's nature. Sometimes God is showing us who He is. The antidote to fear is not focusing on our fear but focusing in the perfect love that has given us authority over the fear. The only way to get a handle over our fear is to put on the mind of Christ! Here are some ways to get a sound mind:

  • Stop waiting for change, to change our mind.

Stop waiting for the situation to change because we can make a different choice. Change starts as a choice, decide today to live where we're going. We gotta believe it, when you've got nothing. It starts with us!

•We don't need a miracle, we need better management.

The same sun that melts wax, hardens clay. The bible tells us to control and manage our thoughts. It's not how we are it's how, we choose to be. The second that lie hits our heart, repent and get rid of the weak excuse.

•Who is our mind serving?

When our spirit is weak, it serves our flesh but with constant communion with the Holy Spirit we will run vision for our spirit. What we feed our mind becomes our mindset. God calls us to control our mind but it's our mindset what controls us. Create a new path in our mind with the truth of the word.

  • Expect miracles along the way

Watch God take things that took forever to restore and surprise us. Our expectation is the water for our seed. Are we believing Him to transform our whole life with one encounter with him??Let's stop confessing what we feel but let's confess what we believe!

Validation from the Lord is accessible to us every day if we can open our ears and hear it. As we continue to walk with the Lord, He wants us to know exactly the ways in which He is willing to show up for us. God was pleased with Jesus, the Son, before He performed a single miracle. So, remember this: our God is already proud of us because His validation of us isn't based on our actions but on how He feels about us.

Here are a few things to remember as you walk with the Lord:

  1. The wilderness isn't a punishment; it's a preparation for graduation. The devil pushes, but the Lord leads.
  2. If the wilderness is where the Lord has led us, then let's use it to crucify the desires of our flesh within us.
  3. God will work with us because He is a God of grace, but there will be a day when He will call us to conquer the things that we have been struggling with.
  4. The devil uses the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life to tempt us, but the Lord uses the cross to sanctify us before He fulfills His promises to us.
  5. Sometimes, it's not losing that makes us tired, but the continuous battles, even when we are winning.
  6. Those who make it past victory are the ones who realize that in the midst of darkness, angels are present.

Even Jesus experienced fatigue, but remember that when you're tired, it might be because you've already overcome. Learn how to give and receive from the Lord, who can provide us with a fullness of joy that no human can offer. Wherever we're afraid to go, God will show us that just as He cares for sparrows, He is already looking after us

Life's full of ups and downs, mountains, and valleys. God publicly validated Jesus when He was baptized, but immediately after, God called Jesus into the valley. When you receive the mandate of purpose in the kingdom, you answer the call. The call is not always in the highs, but if we're afraid of the lows, we'll never find out how powerful God really is. We need to trust the process but also be prepared to fight the good fight against the devil. We need to recognize the three weapons the devil has to defeat him in battle:

Lust of the flesh

Lust of the eyes

Pride of life

These are the same tactics the devil used on Eve. Eve lost the battle because she had a second-hand revelation. She had heard from Adam what God said. However, Jesus defeated the devil because He first conquered His flesh and had a first-hand revelation of the word of God. To survive the upcoming fight, we need to prepare and know the word of God within us. In the midst of the fight, we need to tell the devil, "It Is Written..

Remember, if our teacher is allowing our testing, they're trying to tell us that we already have all the answers we need to graduate to the next level. All we have to do is pass the test.

God's perception of the prophets and the prophets' perceptions of themselves are completely opposite. In this day and age, we are fully convinced that we know God's heart and are speaking on His behalf. But how can we be so sure? The prophets of this age are busy with full calendars and an abundance of activities. But what does the Lord say? They speak not out of listening to His word. They have activity but they do not have authority.

God wants us as a church to be filled with His authority and to release His power. God wants His church to be a gateway to heaven.

In this scripture, the Lord shows observation, offering, and gives us further understanding:

Observation: We're so busy that we don't fully spend time with Him. The God that we worship is close at hand, and although we live in an age where everything else is close at hand, the great tragedy for our generation is that we think we know the Lord, but we have only scratched the surface of who He is. He is not JUST close at hand but far away, in need of pursuit.

Offering: He is giving us access to His throne and wants us to come into proximity with Him. We have to disconnect to connect. There have to be seasons in our lives where we push back on all the other things that are close at hand. There are parts of God that can only be discovered when we give God our day.

Understanding: It's the far away God that comes to us in moments of our life that marks us with calling, with commission, giving us faith and vision. The far away God ruins us for the ordinary and makes us say that we don't want anything else but heaven right now.

We're sustained by the close at hand God, but revival is started by the far away God. There are some levels of demonic oppression that can only be broken with prayers to the far away God, so let's press into that today!

In our lives, we often strive to control certain aspects, but we must acknowledge that our efforts can only take us so far. When we attempt to control things, we are essentially admitting that we trust ourselves more than we trust God. However, it is crucial to realize that God does not want us to submit to Him partially; rather, He desires that we surrender everything to Him and trust in His process. It is important to recognize that our sins not only affect us but can also have an impact on those around us. As Christians, we are called to live as examples of the gospel, but our disobedience can lead to turmoil in other people's lives.

There are several reasons why we might feel compelled to control things:

  • It is our default mode of operation.
  • At times, taking control can yield positive results.
  • We might feel impatient and rush God's timing.

In situations where we are following God's will and obeying His commands, we must trust that things will unfold as they are meant to. It is essential to understand that sin encompasses more than just our overt wrongdoings. Even if we make choices out of disobedience, we are still living in sin.

When we place ourselves in God's hands, we can rest assured that regardless of the challenges we face, we will be okay because we are designed to be with Him. Therefore, it is crucial to let go of our need for control and surrender ourselves to His divine will. By doing so, we can live a life that is pleasing to God and be a positive influence on those around us.

This world can offer us a fleeting sense of peace, but as believers, we serve a God who offers us a peace that surpasses all understanding. Fear can often push us to make impulsive decisions, but when we allow ourselves to experience true peace, we can learn to be still and make wise choices.

It's important to recognize that not all fear is created equal. Healthy fear can equip us to face challenges and grow as individuals, while unhealthy fear can hold us back and limit our potential. Instead of letting fear control us, we can choose to let it fuel our faith and motivate us to become better versions of ourselves.

We should never allow the fear of the unknown to keep us from stepping into the fullness of what God has for us. Even when we feel like things are coming to an end, we must remember that it's not over until it's good. Fear may tempt us to break rules or compromise our values, but as followers of Christ, we are called to walk with grace and integrity, opening doors for others who are believing for the same things we are.

So let us not be ruled by fear, but by faith in a God who offers us true and lasting peace. Let us use our fear to become stronger and better equipped to face whatever challenges come our way, always trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.

Being faithful and consistent is not always exciting and it's not always cheered on by people. However, it is crucial to keep our faith and consistently pursue the creator of our call. In the process, He gives us the confidence and wisdom to do what He intends for our life. Our faith should bring forth fruit, and to achieve that, we need to understand and implement the following points:

  1. Faith takes a new vision. This new vision only comes when we seek the things above and not earthly things. We should not combat our heavenly promise with earthly reasoning. Instead, we should focus on our faith and seek God's guidance to acquire a new perspective.
  2. Faith takes action. Joshua didn't just talk about the word God gave him; he acted upon it. Similarly, we should not just talk about what God has asked us to do; we should do it. Taking action is a crucial step in fulfilling our call.
  3. Faith takes patience. We need to be willing to be inconvenienced in our day and age to see what God has said come to pass. God is good and just, and He will not cut corners because that goes against His truth and love.
  4. Faith takes consistency and commitment. We have to be okay with the process because it ensures that we remain expectant for the outcome. The process also ensures that we don't take the credit but give all the glory to God.
  5. Faith takes follow-through. When we try to take down the walls alone in our timing, we have nothing to show for it. However, when we obey and trust God and actually follow through with what He has asked us to do, we will see His glory come through like never before.

In conclusion, it is essential to keep the faith and consistently pursue God's call for our life. By implementing the above points, we can bring forth fruit and see God's glory manifested in our life.

The Lord is never unsure of the grand plans He has in store for us. When He created us, He put on both the hats of an architect and an engineer. His thoughts and plans for us are as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. We are merely on loan from God to our earthly fathers. Therefore, the fact that we are still here means that the engineer has done something right. Despite the trials and tribulations that we have endured, we are still here, living and breathing today. This is because we have a purpose that we are yet to fulfill.

However, it is not uncommon for us to forget that we need to rely on God, our Father, for all instructions and directions. We often forget that people are fallible and will, at some point, let us down. But God has no quitting point. He is always there for us, no matter how bleak things might seem.

Many of us live our lives for God as if we are playing hide and seek. But God is not hiding in ways we cannot find Him. He is hiding just enough to create a sense of desperation in our hearts, so that we can seek Him with all our heart and soul.

One of the most remarkable things about Jesus is that He is the only God who got into life with us. It was His compassion that compelled Him to meet us in our mess. And because the Father sent Him, He ran all the way. It is like the story of the prodigal child coming home. We get to return to our Father daily, no matter how far we have strayed.

In conclusion, we must remember that we are on this earth for a reason, and that reason is to fulfill the purpose that God has for us. We must seek Him with all our heart and soul, knowing that He will never lead us astray.

God does not want us to worry about anything in our lives. In fact, He commands us not to worry. When we worry, we create chaos in our lives that was never meant for us to carry. To open the door to faith, we must close the door to worry. It is important to understand that worrying is a manifestation of an orphan mentality. It is when we think that we are pulling the yoke by ourselves and ploughing the field of life alone. However, when our faith is completely in Him, God will teach us the ways of life. He will guide us through the ups and downs of life, and show us the path we should take. It is important to trust in Him and know that He will never abandon us. With Him, we can overcome any obstacle and live a fulfilling life.

Pastor Jeremy reminds us that God's command to not worry is not just a suggestion. It is a command that we must follow if we want to maintain a peaceful life. Worry takes our focus away from God and puts it on our problems, which creates chaos and anxiety in our lives. However, when we put our faith completely in God, He will teach us the ways of life, and guide us through all the ups and downs we may face. We must trust in Him and know that He will never abandon us. When we let go of our worries and rely on Him, we can live a fulfilling life and overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

Moreover, the speaker highlights that worrying often leads to an orphan mentality, where we believe that we are alone in our struggles and have to bear our burdens alone. This mentality can lead to isolation and further anxiety. But when we trust in God, we realize that we are never alone and that He is always with us, ready to help us in our time of need. It is important to remember that we are not made to carry our burdens alone, but rather to give them to God and let Him carry us through our struggles.

We often forget that God is a Father God, full of love and mercy. No matter how good our earthly father is, they are still human and have flaws that can affect their parenting. Sometimes, we tend to see our Heavenly Father through the same lens we view our earthly fathers, but this is not the right way to approach Him. Let us ask God to renew our minds so that we can see Him for who He is, complete and whole, without any preconceived notions.

Our Heavenly Father has adopted us into His house, and He is pleased to not just give us some things, but to give us ALL things. His love for us is boundless, and His grace is infinite. We can trust in Him with all our hearts, and He will never let us down.

Here are 7 things that you may chase after if you are not rooted in the truth of God's love:

  1. Passions: chasing after things that give us temporary pleasure and excitement, but ultimately leave us feeling empty and unfulfilled.
  2. Possessions: accumulating material possessions that we think will make us happy, but in reality, only create more stress and anxiety.
  3. Position: seeking power and status in our careers or social circles, thinking that it will bring us happiness and fulfillment.
  4. Performance: trying to prove our worth and value through our achievements and accomplishments, leading to burnout and exhaustion.
  5. People: looking for validation and acceptance from others, rather than finding our identity in Christ.
  6. Place: constantly searching for a better city, job, or environment, hoping that a change of scenery will solve our problems.
  7. Power: desiring to control our lives and the lives of others, rather than surrendering to God's plan and will for our lives.

However, we must remember that love must precede service, not the other way around. The Father's love gives us the ability to live the Christian life, and we must choose to put Him above all these things. What would you choose today? Let's ask God to help us choose Him and His love above all else.

In our generation, we are called to do great things. But in order to fully understand our call, it is important to take a moment to reflect on the ones who have come before us. We are not the first to run this race; we are simply grabbing the baton from the heroes of faith that have paved the way for us. And as has been the case throughout history, in every generation, God raises up a leader who does not fit in. This is because if you fit in, you won't need God.

While it is exciting to look ahead to the next level, it is important to remember that the road ahead will not be easy. Just as Joshua was able to look past the giants that stood in his way, it was only because he never lost sight of his God. We must remind ourselves to keep our eyes fixed on Him, and to trust that He will help us overcome any obstacle that lies ahead.

If you stay stuck in the past, you will never be able to break free from the system that is currently holding you back. God has called you to a new table, and it is up to you to use your maturity and growth to fight the new fight that lies ahead.

When you finally reach the promised land, you may find that the Lord will no longer provide manna for you; instead, He will give you the seed to plant your own food. This means that you will have to fight for your future. But rest assured, you will not be fighting alone. God will be with you every step of the way.

It is time to claim the territory of your life and to trust that God will guide you every step of the way. Take a moment to thank Him for getting you through your past, and for all that He has taught you along the way. But now it's time for you to be an active participant in your own story. You may have slept with your armor on, but as you continue to be fitted in righteousness, you will be able to fight the good fight of faith to the very end.

"To SEE" in the original language implies "to realize" and "to attain vision". This means that it is not simply a matter of dreaming about something that you cannot see, but rather, it involves comprehending what the Lord intends for you to grasp. If you are currently pursuing something, bear in mind that it all began with a mental image. This image only comes about when you align yourself with the Lord. However, in order to possess the vision that God has given you, you must be a good steward of it. Visionaries have the ability to bring things into existence by declaring and believing them, thus allowing us to alter the environment in which we find ourselves. For example, Elijah progressed from visualizing rain to experiencing an abundance of it.

Praise functions as a conduit to our vision, allowing us to surmount the obstacles and impediments that stand in our way. Praise demonstrates that we have been in the presence of the Lord, regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. In the end, we may never receive validation from others about our vision. Nevertheless, as long as we have wise guidance, humble ourselves before God, and block out the noise around us, we will be able to see in the natural world what we have visualized in the supernatural realm.

It's important to understand that possessing a God-given vision requires more than just seeing it in your mind's eye. To achieve it, you must take practical steps to make it a reality. This involves being a responsible steward of your vision, assessing your progress, and taking action to move closer to your goal. The process can be difficult at times, but it's important to remember that praise can help you overcome the obstacles and stumbling blocks that come your way. It's also important to have wise counsel and humility, which can help you stay grounded and focused on your vision.

At the end of the day, seeing in the natural what you've visualized in the supernatural requires unwavering faith and trust in God. It's important to remember that the Lord has a plan for your life, and your vision is a part of that plan. By aligning yourself with Him and being a good steward of your vision, you can bring your dreams into existence and shift the atmosphere around you.

Insecurity and victimhood can be debilitating mindsets that hold us back from walking through the doors God has opened for us. We have to allow God to transform our minds and hearts so that we can conquer everything He has in store for us on this earth. Our mind is a precious gift from the Lord, and the enemy will try to attack it. However, we can protect it by anchoring our identity in the anointing of the Lord and His name over our lives, which makes us more than conquerors.

Let us remember the woman who had the issue of blood; she believed and had faith that she would be healed before she even touched Jesus. In the same way, we have to come to a place in our minds where we can think and believe before things happen in order to experience breakthrough. This means trusting in God's promises and having faith that He will come through for us.

It is important to remember that miracles are not always measured in the same way as sin. While sin is sin in God's eyes, faith is not measured by how impressive it appears. Instead, the Lord wants to know if our faith has endurance and if we are willing to hold on to it even in the face of adversity.

Finally, we must trust in the Lord's promises and know that He will never let us drown. Although we may encounter difficulties and obstacles as we step out in faith, we can take comfort in the fact that God is always with us, guiding us and protecting us every step of the way.

Our lives are like the raw ingredients a chef compiles before they begin to bake. In order to make cookies, you'll need flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. However, making cookies is not the only thing you can do with these ingredients. You can also make cakes, brownies, or even bread. The possibilities are endless, just like the potential in our lives.

God has a purpose for each one of us, and it is our responsibility to discover what that purpose is. Sometimes, it takes time and patience, but eventually, we will find it. As we look back on our lives, we can see how God has been working in us, even when we didn't realize it. He has been shaping us, molding us, and preparing us for a greater purpose.

When we are in our calling, we may still experience frustration, bitterness, and rejection. But those are the very things that God wants to use to make something new in us. He wants to take our struggles and turn them into something beautiful.

God has given each one of us unique gifts and talents. And when we surrender our lives to Him, He will use those gifts and talents for His glory. We may not always know what the future holds, but we can trust that God has a plan for our lives. And when we let go of our own plans and trust in Him, we will find the destiny and purpose that He has for us.

So let us embrace the raw ingredients in our lives and allow God to use them to make something new. Let us trust in His plan for us and have faith that He will fulfill His promises. And let us live a life that is surrendered to Him, knowing that He has a destiny and purpose for each one of us.

As believers, we can gather in church on Sundays, but we are called to be the church every day of the week. The anointing of the Holy Spirit equips us to not just proclaim the Gospel, but to demonstrate its life-changing power to the world.

Here are five amazing attributes of the Holy Spirit:

  1. It brings the power of God
  2. It is tangible (something you can feel and experience)
  3. It brings joy (not happiness)
  4. It brings breakthrough
  5. It is transferable

Although the anointing may be on your life, but it is not just for your life!

When fear fills your heart, it can cause you to feel trapped and limited in your abilities. On the other hand, faith has the power to expand your horizons and give you the courage to dream and hope in God. It takes great faith to plant seeds in a time of famine or to dig up wells in a dry and barren land. Faith is also what gives you the strength to fight and overcome the challenges that come your way. In the upcoming season, we will delve deeper into our spiritual wells to access the living water that God has promised us.

Here are some compelling reasons why you should consider digging deeper:

  1. When you dig deep, you can prosper even in the midst of a famine. Your faith in God will enable you to find solutions to your problems, and His grace will provide for your needs.
  2. There are times when you must fight and contend for the blessings that God has in store for you. Digging deeper into your faith will give you the strength and courage to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.
  3. Just because you are in a good place does not mean that you have reached God's ultimate destination for your life. By digging deeper into your faith, you can discover the plans and purposes that God has for you, and take your life to the next level.
  4. Your journey may be long and difficult, but you can be assured that you will eventually make it to your well or promise. By staying focused on God's promises and continuing to dig deep into your faith, you can have the confidence to press on towards your goals.

Remember, God may challenge you to dig a new well at any time, so don't get too comfortable in your current circumstances. Keep pushing forward in obedience to God's words, and stay rooted in the center of His will. By doing so, you can be fruitful even in times of famine and experience the abundant life that He has promised to you!

Have you ever felt God compelling you towards a certain direction in life, yet it didn’t make complete sense? Often in these moments, we feel a wrestle between listening to the Holy Spirit or remaining stagnant due to the unknown. Understanding the power of God’s leading, this week Pastor Jeremy speaks on the necessity of extreme trust in God.

God’s ways are always higher than ours, and we must remember that we won’t see the completed picture immediately. In the unknown of what God is doing, we must remain diligent to His leading even when it may not make sense. It is in the perplexity of it all that God comes through and reveals His glory in the end.

In the process, may we choose to have radical trust in Jesus and His ways. We must remember that Jesus has need of our lives, and when Jesus has need to use us, the time is now. May our heart posture continuously be, “God, wherever you go, I’ll go” because we trust His ways are good.

What did it mean for Jesus? What does it mean for us today? Let's catapult into this message of hope for today and tomorrow.

God is in the business of finishing the work He begins in us. Jesus came to do something mighty in each of our lives. He longs for us to walk in full freedom. Jesus paid for it on the cross. We still battle with a mindset of lack, loss, and brokenness. God doesn't want us stuck in these cycles.

Jesus' love drove Him to the cross for you. He paid with His life for you to be free in every area of your life. God does not want you to live your life in bondage to mindsets, emotions, and circumstances. He paid the price of His life to redeem you to freedom. How can you use the power of the cross to enter into true freedom this Resurrection Sunday? Tune in, and tap into your new resurrection life!

This week Pastor Jeremy speaks on the topic of serving as a Christian. In our human nature, we often find ourselves being selfish and wanting others to do things for us. However, this week’s sermon touches on the importance of giving our lives.

When it comes to living for Jesus, it should be our desire to live our lives after His example. Although He was on earth as the Son of God, He also was the greatest servant. Just as Jesus knew His assignment was to serve the Kingdom through attending to the needs of others, so we must remember that our lives are not our own. We should see life as a gift to be used by God to love and help others for God’s glory.

As we think about the gifts, talents, and abilities that we have, may we see them as a source to serve Jesus. When we serve those around us, even when it’s not always convenient, we serve Jesus and expand the Kingdom. Rather, than expecting others to meet our needs, let us allow God to use as He sees fit because it is the greatest reward.

This week Pastor Jeremy Johnson gives us another great sermon on what we need to be fear’s greatest nightmare. Through the sermon series we’ve been learning that though the war on fear can be a daunting task, it is one that is conquerable only with the help of God.

When implementing the practices to conquer fear, we must put in the spiritual work to build our spirit man for the battle. We do this by strengthening ourselves with the Word of God and abiding in His presence. As we do this, we gain perseverance to keep going in our spiritual journey to freedom and learn that we can endure any battle with God on our side.

May we stay disciplined in investing our time with God to become a warrior for His kingdom. In doing so, we gain direction and strategy from heaven to overcome fear. In this direction, our obedience breaks off the bondage of fear and leads us to new life in Christ that we can help others find too. Let us keep going strong in the faith knowing God is always faithful to help us in every battle we face.

Listen to Pastor Christy’s spirit-filled sermon titled “Into the Wild”, which focuses on the struggle of rejection and how to deal with it. As humanity, we each have an innate desire to be accepted. However, when we are met with disapproval, we begin to sacrifice ourselves and devotion to God, simply to have the fulfillment of others. But we must remember that when others disapprove of us, God still calls us chosen.

With this remembrance, we come to the realization of who God says we are. Even in times when we are met with seasons of rejection, the tension of wanting to please others and God brings about new levels of knowing our Father when we choose Him. As our heart’s greatest desire becomes Jesus, we embrace the acceptance of our King and do not have to fear how man perceives us.

When we realize God’s position in our lives as the king of kings, we begin to see His words about us outweigh all other views from others. As we bask in the Word of God, we clothe ourselves with the truth He speaks over us. In this, we lose all fear of rejection because we know with Jesus we have nothing to be afraid of. In season and out, may we stand on this truth: God knows us so intently and calls us by name. Take a listen to hear how God’s thoughts about us surpass all other perceptions from others.

Tune in this week to receive an encouraging word from Pastor David Turner about the unexpected events that happen in life, which we call detours. These detours shake our plans and leave us feeling like we’ve hit a dead end.

When our plans encounter a major redirection beyond our control, our initial reaction is to try and make sense of the situation. In the midst of the wondering, we must remember that it is not our job to understand everything in the moment. Instead, we must depend on God even in the unknown. Through this dependency, God transforms us. He also gives us perseverance and new perspective. It is the valleys in life that teach us what we can’t learn on the mountaintops. And in that, we grow and gain deliverance from the Lord.

Though deliverance may not come easy, we must wrestle through the detour to grow as God intended us to. We can trust that God will help us. He is faithful to bring his promises to fulfillment and provide us the faith we need to believe even when the route takes us through the great unknown.

While fear is a spirit that entraps so strongly, we must remember that it so easily enslaves us because it knows we are dangerous to the devil’s schemes. When we seek God and His word, God reveals our heavenly potential and assignment. This assignment was meant to shake the kingdom of darkness and add to the kingdom of God.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Pastor Jeremy Johnson is here to remind us of the true reason for the season. In Emmanuel, God with Us - Strong Tower, we explore the seemingly serendipitous way in which the Messiah, Jesus Christ was born. Get ready to worship the King for closed doors and new pathways.

The saying when God closes a door, He opens a window is popular for a reason. God often has a way of making a way where there is no way and making a path in unexpected places. It was no different in Jesus' life. When Joseph and Mary were set to give birth to Jesus, there was no place to be found for them. Have you felt like you are before a series of closed doors with nothing but questions? If so, know you are not alone. God used similar circumstances to lead Joseph and Mary to the God-ordained place Jesus was to be born. God is doing the same for you.

In this season, we remember Christ's birth and sacrifice for us. We must cherish worshipping him in every circumstance as He leads us through the unknown. God is shaping something incredible in your life. Join us, as we journey through God's word and a powerful Johnson family testimony that testifies to God's goodness in every season. We can't wait to hear the testimonies that are birthed in the New Year!

As Christmas is quickly approaching, the story of Jesus’ birth is one we can reflect on. It is one of unexpected events that require faith and trust in the Lord. Discussing the birth of Christ, Pastor Jeremy shares how Joseph and Mary experienced the gift of the savior, which required great surrender to God’s plan and sovereignty.

Ever feel like the gifts of God are frightening before they are exciting? Or blessings come in unusual ways? When we look in the Bible, Mary was given the gift of birthing Christ. However, leading up to His birth, she was unsure how it would all play out. Similar to Mary’s situation, often the greatest blessings scare us before they bless us. In these times, we must remember that God orchestrates things in our lives in ways that only He can get the credit as He moves miraculously. While we may feel hesitant to receive the gifts of God in their fullness when we don’t understand, we can trust that He works everything out for the good.

As we practice confiding in Him, we can remember that our responsibility is not controlling how things will unfold, but rather our response to His ability to work in our lives. Even when we may not see the blessing immediately, we can be sure that He turns things around to bless us. Rather than trusting our immediate emotions, we can rest knowing God’s hand is always at work. In this, let us be encouraged that God is faithful to finish what He starts.

With so much information being taken in at once through social media, the news, people and places, it’s easy to become consumed by everything around us. However, this week’s sermon discusses the importance of understanding that not all things presented to us should be welcomed in.

The Bible says that our “heart determines the course of our life”. With this in mind, we must be aware of even the small cracks that we leave open to the enemy. This awareness is important because when we give the enemy an inch, he takes a mile and entices us deeper in our mess than we expect.

But even when we do grant the wrong things access to our heart, freedom is still available! We receive redemption when we take charge over the enemy and by keeping our spiritual awareness up and seeking God to renew our hearts and minds. When we guard our thoughts and seek the Lord for spiritual discernment, He helps us even in times when we may mess up. Listen to this week’s sermon as Pastor David discusses how God helps us steward our lives for Him by transforming our thinking and guarding our hearts for His glory.

Ever feel like life has you in a deep valley? It is in these times we often feel broken, and pressed on every side. Take a listen to this sermon as Pastor Jeremy gives an encouraging word to speak to our weaknesses and bring them before God for greater strength.

While we know the lows of life teach us much greater things we could ever learn in the highs, it is easy to forget this truth in the moment. The trying seasons of life can have us feeling a sense of defeat and longing to be back on higher ground. However, during the pressing period, God can still use our weaknesses and shortcomings for His glory. And if we persevere to the end, we will see life come out of our dead situation.

May we remember in the valley seasons of life that God is still just as much with us as He is on the mountaintops. When we trust that God can bring purpose out of our pain we grow stronger spiritually. In this new strength, we receive the confidence and power to speak life to the things that once were dead in our hearts. As we speak to our dead bones, we begin to see the beauty love, joy, peace, and freedom come alive within us.

In life there are many areas that are constantly being fed into. When we feed an area of our life, it eventually grows. This week’s sermon hits on one of the most common and powerful principles in the spiritual realm: you reap what you sow.

If we take a look at our lives we can see that the spiritual law of seed time and harvest is evident in every aspect. While everything begins as a seed of small beginnings, over time we receive the reward of its fullness as we tend to it and care for it. However, whatever we don’t pour into, we cannot expect a harvest from as it has not been fed. In the same way, we must feed and seed our dreams and relationship with God. When we place them into God’s hands we will see that He can do so much more than our human hands can and expands our harvest.

May we continue to sow Christ in ourselves and situations to see the ripe harvest He has for us. While our feeding of the spirit may seem small and insignificant in the beginning, we must continue pressing in to God’s presence. At the right time we will see the heavenly multiplication of our sowing for the Kingdom.

In the Christian faith prayer is such a vital aspect of having a relationship with God because it is the lifeline between us and our creator. The Bible says we are to bring anything and everything before God by constantly communing with Him. In our journey of faith we often come across seasons when we may feel that God is distant and silent when it is said that He is close and never leaves. In these seasons, we begin to question, “God, can you really hear me when I pray,” causing us to wonder if God really is close.

However, when we rehearse the past victories of God in our lives, we can reflect and remember that God is always present with us. Despite situations that seem to be falling apart or don’t unfold as we prayed for, we can trust that God is still attentive to our prayers to Him. In our times of speaking with God, He strengthens us in a personal way as prayer produces power and preparation for what is to come. Though we may have our doubts at times when we come before God, the strength He gives us comes from us acknowledging Him in faith that He hangs on every word we say and will work all things out for our good.

May we continue to grow our prayer life and remain in constant communication with God. The more we speak with God, He shifts our perspective on things above rather than the situation at hand. In this, He gives us His endurance to remain steadfast in trials, faith to believe for more, and builds our relationship with Him to believe He is who He says He is.

With so much going on in our everyday lives, how often do we find ourselves trying to balance everything at once. In the balance, we often find ourselves giving “just enough” to keep things going with our jobs, family, and even our relationship with God. This week Pastor Jeremy discusses what would it look like if we went all in with Jesus.

Rather than giving God our 99%, He requires our 100%. In complete surrender to God we receive the fullness of life with Christ, rather than counterfeit Christianity. In the fullness we receive the power, authority, and truth that has been promised to us.

Living in this life with Christ, we see that He always has better than we could every imagine. While we all want God’s way, it comes with a price. May we lay every part of our lives at the feet of Jesus with the firm belief that we can trust Him that our dreams, relationships, and plans are taken care of when we completely let go and surrender it all to Him.

As we continue our “Letting Go” series, Pastor Jeremy Johnson discusses the cunning ways of Jezebel through pride, which often fuels the greatest works of the Jezebel spirit. When pride is in our midst we quickly see that even the slightest amount of it is too much as it completely distorts God’s best for us.

Compromising with pride in our lives is destructive because it causes us to wear ourselves out through self sufficiency, rather relying on God, the one who is able to sustain us. When we humble ourselves to the Word of God, pride begins to leave. We then make room for God to grant us His grace to live in a greater abundance of His presence as we release control to Him.

What could be if we became a people that followed the humility of the Savior? Imagine if our desire was, “God, empty me out and fill me with you.” An outpouring of God’s grace would be upon us and the glory of the Lord would be our heart’s greatest delight.

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Christy Johnson leads us to ask ourselves what things have we been tolerating in our lives. In efforts of maintaining control over our situations, the controlling spirit of Jezebel will often manipulate us to stay at its table longer than we should. This eventually saps our strength and leaves us running in spiritual circles, rather than breaking free and living out the will of God.

When we release our grip on the situations before us, we let the spirit of Jezebel know that it no longer has a hold on us. We change our passive ways and realize we’ve wrestled long enough with control. In complete surrender of our lives, the tables are turned and we see that God has given us a beautiful invitation to sit with Him.

If there is anything that has been bothering you for too long, you can rest in knowing that you no longer need to waiver between the tables of Jesus and control. God says that we can accept the invitation to commune at His table because He can be fully trusted with every area of our lives. Will you give God the reins of your life and accept the loving call to dine with Him?

God wants us to experience revolutionary growth and change. There are things that we tolerate that prevent us from truly shifting into our potential. How do we begin to draw the line and stop tolerating the unfathomable?
God is truth and love. He wants us to walk and live in the same character. He dreams of seeing us impact the world in real and meaningful ways. This begins in what we are willing to tolerate. Let's learn how to draw the boundary lines necessary to live a life that is potent and powerful. This week's message is a game changer.

When life gets chaotic, our initial reaction is to worry because our sense of control is gone. We often worry in pursuit of making things work out in our own strength and ability. This week, Pastor Jeremy Johnson encourages us to kiss worry goodbye by putting our trust in the Lord.

Worry is a habit that God knows we easily struggle with. That’s why He commands us in His word: “don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything.” While stressing over the matters at hand seems instinctive, we can submit to His ways because anything God commands us to do, He gives us the power to do. In this surrender, He grants us His peace in the process.

When we learn to pray to God first before bowing to our anxieties, peace comes upon us and worry dissipates. As children of God, we can trust that God will provide for us. Just as He cares for the animals of the earth, how much more will he take care of us as His heirs?

Life has many unexpected highs and lows. In one season it is full of bliss and other times it can be full of gruesome trials. Because life is not always an easy ride, but rather a process of endurance, the quote “life is a marathon, not a sprint” proves true. All runners win the race in completing it. However, in this week’s sermon, Pastor David Turner discusses that only one wins the prize through proper preparation and a mind fixed on Christ.

As life can be related to a marathon, we must be mindful of what it means to run this race that God has called us to. When we understand the ultimate prize we are chasing is Jesus, we are filled with a sense of urgency to prepare well. In the preparation we train with the end in mind, as we know the eternal glory far outweighs temporary pleasures. This creates a sense of perseverance to keep on the straight and narrow path and to run with intention and by example. Our lives are not our own and we must not quit when the going gets tough because many are depending on us to run the race faithfully.

In life when the prize we are pursuing is Jesus, we win the ultimate trophy. A mind set on Jesus changes the way we approach life and leads us to run with purpose. When we understand our God given purpose, we understand the importance of taking part in the kingdom of God and preparing for what is to come through time in His presence. As a result, this perspective changes the way we approach life and creates a sense of strength to endure to the end because we know the value of Jesus- our rich reward.

In life we’re all running one of two races. The race God has given us, or, the race the world has offered us. Either way they both end with a prize. We have to ask ourselves, which prize do we want to receive at the end? And that’s determined by, if we’ve been running the race of faith or the race of our flesh. Just as we can’t serve two masters, we can’t run both races. Below are  5 ways to run our race to win the prize God has for us at the end.Run to win the prize
We have to understand that the race the Lord has for us, doesn’t end with Him just giving us a participation award. There is a prize waiting for us, and that prize is Eternal life. Our faith will be tested, but through those tests our perseverance will grow to reach its maturity. We need to keep our eyes fixed on the prize, and not on the things that will distract us from Him.Train for your race, not someone else’s
God has called us to run different races, at different speeds. Training for a marathon is completely different from training for a sprint race. We’re all running our own race, which means that we have to train for the race marked before us. If we’re not careful, our focus can be diverted to fulfilling the race that others have for us, instead of the race God has given us to run. We have to make sure we stay in the lane God has for us, and not jump into someone else’s. Remember, It’s not only about starting strong, it’s about finishing strong.Run for eternity not temporary
When we choose what we do in our daily lives, do we have eternity in our minds? It’s easy to get entangled in the things of this world that we feel the need to put time into. When we let the things of this world drive us, rather than our obedience in God, those things will keep us from finishing our race. Time is the most valuable resource we have, so what we prioritize needs to lead others to a place of encountering Jesus.Run with intention
If the enemy can’t destroy us, he will create a distraction. Maybe our past strongholds are not enough to distract us anymore, but what the enemy will try to do is deceive us with things that are good in our lives. Whatever we don’t forget, we will repeat, wherever we put our attention on, we will progress. When we lose our focus, we get distracted from running in our lane. By saying yes to God, we’re automatically saying no to everything else that may look good but is not the lane God has us running in.Run By Example
Because our lives are not our own, you never know who is watching that is being directly influenced by how you  live your life. As believers, let’s not just follow our feelings, but instead trust wholeheartedly the race God has placed us on. We know that the race we’re running, God has planned to prosper us, and bring us hope and a future. Knowing this, let’s run this race by being an example of His goodness and love.Application:
How are you running your race today? Are you in competition with everyone around you, and  running someone else’s race? Do you have your eyes fixed on the things of God? Let’s re-evaluate how we are living this life so that we can finish this race strong.Prayer:
Father, help me run this race. I ask that where I have taken any detours, you may reset my feet firmly back on your path. I quit running anyone else’s race and I fix my eyes on the prize of my life. I thank you for your mercy that allows me to endure all things, but I pray that the perseverance that you are refining in me will allow me to finish this race strong.

In this week’s message, Pastor Josue Flores discusses how the Bible explains the most unlikely creatures, such as ants, are some of the wisest on earth. These creatures are known to accomplish mighty things with the right focus in mind. While referring to the complexities and functions of these small creatures, as believers we should remember that when we feel the most unqualified to live out God’s purpose, He often uses us in our most unqualified situations to do His work.

When examining the abilities of these creatures, it can be seen that their primary focus is to build their future. Rather than dwelling on the pitfalls of the past or trying to control the present, they are a perfect example of what it is to purposefully invest in the hope of the future. Like the ant, as sons and daughters of God, we don’t need to dwell on our weaknesses caused by our past or present. When we surrender our release of control to God, He is able to use us in our highly unlikely situations to partner with Him in His work.

Rather than counting ourselves out by our past mistakes and current situations, with God as our Rock, we can receive God’s gifts and live out His plan for our lives. God has much in store for His people. When we begin to understand that God delights in our surrender, we will see that He often uses highly unlikely people to do His most amazing works. In this, His glory is made known all the more.

The tactics of the enemy have always been to steal, kill, and destroy. In the moments when we feel we are being tested and tried by the enemy, we often face battles that are beyond our own strength. As life contains seasons of bliss and seasons of difficulty, as believers we must not let the storms of life overtake us. To take heart and remain steady through the storm, our anchor must be Jesus as He provides perfect peace in the midst of chaos.

Throughout Jesus’ life, He consistently modeled the deepest rest through the storms as He kept a posture of peace through discomfort. Jesus’ unwavering peace, despite the conditions He faced, reveals that peace is not merely the absence of problems, but finding rest in God. Although the struggles of life do not automatically end when we seek the Lord, we are strengthened in the struggle to be prepared for the next season. Because of Jesus’ love for us He allows us to endure the storm so we can be matured and learn through the process.

Struggles are inevitable in life, but we must remember to not focus on the current circumstances or we will miss what God is wanting to do within us. If we believe that God works out all things for our good, we can look to Him every step of the way through hardship to receive the unconditional peace He promises. It is in the storms that we should be aware of how we are praying so we can be equipped and prepared for the unexpectancies of life. When we are spiritually prepared for the storm, we can have peace in the toughest fights because we know God promises to never leave us.

The greatest battles are often the wars we fight internally. Wrestling negative thoughts, while seeking truth can be tough. In Satan’s nature as the father of lies, he creates turmoil in our minds, creating spiritual bondage. However, when we seek God, the father of love, we experience freedom from every false word and begin believing the truth. While emotions are neither good nor bad, but created by God, we cannot let them dictate our lives. We must make Christ as our anchor instead because feelings can be fleeting and lead us to believing lies. When the internal war is waging, it can seem as if the deception of the enemy is too great of a burden to overcome. When we climb higher into the presence of God, is when we see bondages dissipate and our sights are set on who God is, rather than who we are not. As believers, it is important for us to remain alert to the lies and truth we are believing. In doing so, we are to take every thought captive and seek the Lord for a renewed mind. In our pursuit of God, we start believing the truth and see strongholds in our lives break. The more we dwell in the presence of God, the most we understand our call as children of God. We are no longer orphans when we change our ways of thinking through the power of Christ.

Many have not experienced the feeling of family. The fear of not being accepted keeps people from being their true selves. God wants us to walk in freedom to connect to Him and others. He wants us to understand His unconditional love as the Father. This will allow us to flourish and become our true selves.

When we walk in the revelation of our identity as His children we gain access to His blessings in a new way. He desires for us to be able to walk in our full inheritance as His children. How do we begin to see God's true identity to understand our own? This week, we scratch the surface of this deep truth. Let's leave behind orphan hood and step into sonship together.

In this new sermon series titled “Sons of Thunder, Daughters of Zion,” Pastor Jeremy Johnson discusses what it means to live in the adoption of Christ. In this world we are slaves to whatever we allow lordship over our lives. Instead of living under the control of fear, we should walk in the sonship given to us as children of God. A revelation of our inheritance in Christ changes how we live our lives day to day.

Once we begin to see God as our father, and not just our savior, we begin to unlock the promises and blessings bestowed to us. It is this shift in perspective that we go from a lifestyle of slaves to sons and daughters of God. Then, we walk in freedom, understanding the bloodline of Christ brings fullness of life and joy. In God there is no more striving, but rest in the assurance that as His children we have all we need in Him.

When we are rooted and established in God’s love we can truly live in God’s sonship. With the Holy Spirit in our lives, He transforms us. It is then that we receive an understanding of the wonders of His love- how wide, how high, and how deep it is for us. It is in His love that we become more like Him and begin to walk differently because we know we are direct heirs to God Almighty.

With the devastating events occurring in today’s world, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed and give into fear. Tragedy after tragedy can often cause feelings of anxiety, depression, and worry. However, this week Pastor Jeremy shares a word to challenge believers to a life of fearless as our mission.

In life the unexpected is inevitable, which can be daunting, but God calls us to serve no other but Him. God wants to use us in mighty ways to be a part of His work. To partner with Him, He calls us to live life in bold obedience to Him. Amid the constant war of fear and faith, Pastor Jeremy encourages believers to pursue love as it is the driving force of worry out of our lives. When fear tells us to submit, we must remember to flee from it as it always consumes more and cripples us when we were intended to live in Christ’s freedom.

In the moments of distress, God calls us mighty warrior in our feelings of weakness to stand up and look to Him for strength. It is in the pursuit of His love when we find His power in us when we feel weak. God’s word promises that He is attentive to our cries for help, so let us walk in the courage of God to live out His will for our lives. Imagine what could be when we decide to live in full reliance on the Lord, rather than the condition of our circumstances.

In Pastor Scott Williams’ sermon, he shares on what we are closest in proximity to eventually influences who we become. With Jesus as our pursuit, God will make known to us the right people that are to be in our lives. Fostering these life-giving relationships will allow us to be elevated and point us closer to Jesus, the ultimate pursuit. When we link arms with those who are constantly running to Jesus, we advance forward rather than remain complacent.

Additionally, when Jesus is the focus, we become Spirit-led. As a result, we find ourselves exactly where we need to be. Eventually, we begin to see that when we are in the “right places, we start to run the right races.” It is in fellowship with God that He orders our steps for His Kingdom.

As we find ourselves with the right people and in the right places, we must intentionally stay near to the things of God. With Jesus as our pursuit, our focus and energy are drawn to what pleases to Him and we can stand in awe as we see the windows of heaven open opportunities before us. There is power in proximity and when we are in pursuit of God, we receive the power of His spirit in us.

Often times society deems the concept of honor as something that must be earned. However, the Bible describes it as gift, rather than a wage. In this episode, Pastor Jeremy Johnson discusses to live out the privilege of true honor, it must be shown up, down, and around.

To honor up is to value those over us. This can be shown by maintaining a teachable spirit as leaders in your life point you towards the truth. While it may be easier to honor those in authority, the greatest honor is often shown down and around to the unlovable, overlooked, as well to those we interact with on a daily basis. True honor is demonstrated when it is given without the expectation of receiving something in return.

The world may see honor as merely giving undeserved reverence. However, in reality it’s the very act of acknowledging the glory of God inside every individual. When we begin to walk in honor as our privilege, God is lifted up and it releases miracles in the supernatural. Let us practice 360 honor and see how it moves the heart of God.

This week, Pastor Jeremy Johnson, releases a striking word about living out freedom. In Family Values, Freedom is Our Sound, we are exploring the great exploits of the believers in God's word. How does it apply to us today? There are promises held within the pages of the bible that are for us today. Freedom is a promise for your life. Let's dig in and find out how to access it.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom. Freedom is ingrained into our societal concepts. We understand what it looks like in a natural world, but what does this look like spiritually? We all want to experience the freedom God is calling us to. It can be hard to not feel trapped in cycles when we have so many responsibilities. Dreams unfulfilled weigh heavy on our heart as we figure out a way to trudge forward. Is there a way to break forward into destiny?

Real freedom is so much more than just getting to do what you want or what you were called to do. Freedom is a posture of the heart. Freedom is how we carry ourselves in our everyday lives. In this season, God is calling us into a holy proclamation of Freedom. How do we see it fully come to pass in our own lives? Pastor Jeremy weaves a story through the word that will inspire you to break forth into the Lord's favor. Share this message with your friends, because we could all use a deeper level of freedom.

This Sunday, Pastor Jeremy Johnson echoes the declaration Jesus made before his death. This statement made Hell tremble. This statement made the devil cringe. This statement made fear, anxiety, depression, suicide, and so many other sinful demons cower. This statement consisted of three simple words: “It is Finished!”

On the hill called Golgotha, the Place of the Skull, Jesus died as a slave. A would-be king in the eyes of the Jews was crucified on a wooden cross with nails driven into his hands and feet. The devil thought he won. He misheard the words of Jesus and thought He said, “I am finished.”

But no, Jesus instead paid our debt. For every sin we would ever commit. For every sleepless night we would have. For every broken heart and tear shed, He paid for it. Our debt to sin has been paid. Past, present, and future. Now we have the opportunity to come to him, broken and sinful, so Jesus can make us clean. It is finished!

Often, life can be bogged down with so many situations and responsibilities, we forget God wants us to be an active participant in our deliverance.
