Christmas time is here, everyone’s favorite holiday filled with food, family, and presents under that beautifully twinkling tree. But do we really know what the first Christmas was about? The first Christmas was about the presence of God. Not presents, but presence. It is an invitation for us to become His children if we will simply believe. Some of the markers that will help you identify the enemy’s voice will be if the words cause oppression, confusion, discouragement, or rage. The enemy will tend to attack when we are tired because his main goal is to bring us down to his level to entangle us in the things that entangled him. Jesus wants to lead us in triumph, celebrating the victory He has already won over the enemy.
