GALATIANS 5:1-26 | MATTHEW 7:3-5

Although Christianity is classified as a religion, the Jesus we know did not come to start a religion. Jesus was not talking to His disciples about a religion, He used every parable to teach us about family and to represent relationship.

As children of God we need to be careful because we start with relationship and somewhere down the line we all fall into religion.

Here are a few ways to catch our religious mindsets:

  1. Remember that we have so much to work on in ourselves that we don't need to judge anyone else.
  2. Removing the plank in your own will give you clarity and the vision of love.
  3. Removing the plank is hard work but you have to be prepared to do it.
  4. God set us free from the law, for us to pursue freedom and the fruit of the spirit.
  5. Done focus on not sinning but focus on the freedom that God have us go step into the throne room of grace.

The world and the church love to condemn those that pursue Christ. So if you ever feel like stepping out in judgment ask yourself how criticising someone is loving them.

APPLICATION:

Have you been judgemental lately? Thinking things like "this sermon is perfect for__"

How can you begin to repent and ask God to speak to the areas of

your heart that need strengthening today!

PRAYER:

Father forgive me for my flesh and my judgemental heart. I ask you to reveal the planks in my eyes so I can continue see your love more clearly. In Jesus name, amen.

1 TIMOTHY 6:6-11 | EXODUS 16:16 | 1 SAMUEL 16: 11-13 | NUMBERS 17:32-36

A sense of contentment bleeds into every aspect of how we operate in this life. It's possible for us to be set free but desire to go back to our old lives simply because it's comfortable! God is okay with the moments of doubt if we can overcome with Faith in knowing who He is.

There are many reasons why we can get discontented in this life so here are three traps of discontentment.

  1. Discontentment clouds our judgement

2. Discontentment convinces us that what we have is never enough

3. Discontentment doesn't give us time to rest

The enemy is constantly trying to get us to control our circumstances when the Lord is only wanting us to be in control of our contentment. Here are the three things to know about contentment:

  1. Contentment brings favor

2. Contentment brings confidence

3. Contentment brings clarity

When we get used to just "enough" we will be excellent with all we have in front of us. We won't need armor to slay giants because we know that God can use us with what we have in our hands. Remember we can be expectant but remain content in every season as we trust in the Lords timing!

Application - We can be accepted by God but rejected by man. It's one or the other but which one are we pursuing? What we pursue will determine where our contentment lies.

Prayer - Father I long for you not just to be my savior but for you to be Lord over my life. I want to fix my eyes on you so that I can be content in every season. Remove all the worldly distractions and help me take all thoughts of discontentment captive!

PHILLIPIANS 4:4-13 | ROMANS 8:38 | 1 TIMOTHY 6:6 | 2 CORINTHIANS: 11:23-30

Discouragement is like a downhill walk, it doesn't take much effort and you barely notice how far you've walked until you realize that there is a moment that you might have to turn around and trek up back hill. But the beautiful thing is God want's to give you the priceless possession of Joy, something that no matter what life may throw at you, it won't be able to steal from you.

Here are some things to remember about a state of discontentment:

  1. The devil is after your worship, and discontentment is a lack of worship
  2. Satisfaction lies in the fact that in Jesus, you have it all.
  3. God provides a way out of discontentment by giving us His strength to lean on.
  4. The secret to contentment is having awareness of Him in every situation.

Discontentment is a manifestation of pride in our lives and it was that pride that made the great heroes of faith turn their back on God only to realize that He was all they needed at the bottom. Remember one day we will be worshiping Him and not showing off our trophies in Heaven, but we don't have to wait to get to Heaven to find the treasure of life right here, right now.

APPLICATION -

Your contentment is a matter of pursuit, so take a moment to look at what you are chasing that you already possess!

PRAYER -

Father, I know that you have already given me the greatest treasure in life.

Thank you for the gift of your relationship. Help me pursue you today in spirit and in truth, show me glory so that I can see that I'm not missing anything in life.

Proverbs 14: 30
Philippines 4:4-13
1 Timothy 6:6-12The enemy wants to rob you of now. He wants to empty today by causing you to worry about tomorrow, but a heart at peace is what we need to long for, because what we go through emotionally will affect you physically!Your pain gives you power to preach more effectively if you can learn to be content at “empty”. Because if you can’t be content at the end you will never be content at full. Because it’s not about being filled it’s about being fulfilled. Here are four things to know about contentment:Contentment must be learned.
Contentment is a choice.
You can have contentment on empty
Contentment is the good fight of faithThe only thing that can bring you contentment is not found here. When we leave this world we will not be taking anything with us, but a change in our focus will allow us to make it through this life.Don’t beat yourself up for being discontent, but ask God to help you see the things you can be grateful for in this moment, and you can rejoice like the wordApplication -
What are some areas in your life that you have envy and discontentment? What can you be thankful for instead in your life?Prayer - Father, I’m so grateful for the life you have given me. Allow me to see all that you’ve already set your hand to in my life because I know that everything has purpose! I discard discontentment from my life and I choose to fix my eyes on you! Have you ever had a small wound that hurt a lot more than you think it would? Have you heard the statement "time heals all wounds?" The reality is time heals surface level scratches but time does not heal anything that cut deep. If we are not intentional about our healing, we will only sit there with an open festering wound. In order for us to have a Sound of Freedom, we must go through the Process of Healing.

"Stop the bleeding" - pressure from the right covering and leadership will help you stop the initial bleeding of a wound. Come as you are but don't live that way when God has called you to freedom!

  1. "Remove the Junk" - this looks like forgiving those that hurt us. We carry unforgiveness to a point that allows our wounds to fester! Instead of blaming others let's ask God for what He's doing in that situation!
  2. "Full the void" - God wants to fill you with new life. He wants us to become whole so that we can be full of His purposes.
  3. "The Maturing Begins" - this is when the covering comes off, because to complete your healing you need honesty and vulnerability with the right people.

APPLICATION- have there been areas in your life that you have refused healing? Can you embrace the pain today and allow yourself to finally move forward in life!

PRAYER- Father, search my heart and create are a right Spirit within me.

Surround me with the right people that will help my healing process, but ultimately lead me to you and your truth. I no longer want to live this way, I need your help and I need your guidance. In Jesus Name!

Read
Matthew 24:10-13
Proverbs 18:19
Luke 17:6
John 15:15In the last days there will be many people who will start getting offended and end up hating those around them. Everyone thinks betrayal is like Judas betraying Jesus but in reality, we begin to betray those we’re in relationship with, as the beginnings of self-protection. Offense is the bait of Satan that is meant to pull you, the believer, into his captivity. Here are some things that happen with offense:

  1. Your roots do not stop growing. Offense never shrinks when left alone.
  2. Offense feeds from a source. If you’re watering your hurt, it’ll keep rising up.
  3. It kills your potential. If you don’t kill offense, it will kill you.
  4. It produces bitter fruit. What’s inside will eventually come out.
  5. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small thing, deal with it now because it will bring division!

Christianity involves us being in relationship with the one who let go of ALL offenses that we cast on Him. And by breathing we will have every opportunity to be offended but instead of getting bitter, let’s make up our mind to get better. Don’t waste your life, forgive, let go, and let His light shine through your pain.Application:
Ask God to search your heart in this moment. Are there an hidden offenses that you need to deal with?Prayer:
Lord, I pray that you pull out the root of this offense. I don’t want my love to grow cold so help me forgive those that have hurt me so that I can walk in freedom. Protect my heart from the bait of Satan, that is offense, and cover me with your love today! In Jesus name, Amen.

Acts 3:1-12 NKJV | Acts 3:16 NKJV | Acts 4:1-14 NKJV

The Holy Spirit does not inhabit someone that is dead. He longs for his body (the church) to come alive because it was for life that He gave His own. When religious spirits tell you to turn it down, the Holy Spirit reminds us that the rocks will cry out! Here are some reasons to rebuke a religious spirit:

  1. Religious spirits will burden you down with a a form of godliness without power! If we're to be a church of Jesus Christ we have to shake off the religion!
  2. Our best miracles will be in the crowd. We're meant to walk slow through a crowd. The greatest miracle could happen at the gas station when you're filling up your tank!
  3. Religion can argue with an ideology or options but they cannot argue with a testimony.
  4. Religion will have you focused on the destination that you miss the journey.

The exclamation point to your story will be found along the way.A real encounter with God will make the dysfunctional function, so let's not be a part of church that only works in a room where one man talks and let's be the church outside in the crowd!

APPLICATION:

Have there been some areas in your life that you've struggled without becoming religious? How can you begin to let the truth of His word change you today.

PRAYER:

Father, I rebuke a religious spirit. I long to walk in love, power, and authority. I want to be discipled by you. I want to walk slow through the crowd so that I can allow your Spirit to change this world through me!

Jesus name, Amen.

We’re called to go into the world but not be in the world. We must remember that although God might placed us in places, we must lean on Him for protection and wisdom. God is looking for a group of people to get out of the building and go into the darkest places to preach the gospel. The same commission that God the Father gave Jesus the son, Jesus gives us.
  1. Remember that God wants a church of power and the enemy wants to stop that.
  2. The devil works overtime to keep us comfortable in church but we are called to the world.
  3. We’re called to conquer every industry so go boldly and declare Gods glory everywhere!
  4. Instead of doing what we thought God wants, let’s read the word and find out where He’s calling us to go!
Jesus is okay with where you’re at and He will love you to where you’re called to be. Remember that we have authority over every atmosphere and it’s time for us as the church to step out and preach the gospel with our lives.
Application:
Have you had a hard time declaring God in the world that God has placed you? How can you begin to practice that today?Prayer:
Lord, help me preach the word to all those around me. You’ve redeemed me to redeem others and I’m grateful for your patience and passion towards me! I need your love so that I can bring that to the world! In Jesus name, Amen.

Out of our misery comes our ministry. The greater the pain, the greater the power. It doesn’t matter who we are because our suffering is so that we can be called to help others. So let’s not get bitter with what we go through but allow others to benefit from the perseverance of our faith. But the enemy wants us to be stuck in a victim mentality so that we can get stuck focused in ourselves. We need to stop being hooked in our pain and give it to God.Things thats happen when we get stuck:1. Being stuck in Egypt is not necessarily a location but a mindset. Don’t get stuck in your past!

  1. When we don’t have confidence in the Lord we become a complainer. To complain about God is to declare that we don’t trust Him.

  2. We don’t get delivered because the truth is we don’t want to be. But we have to put away childish things and move on from that past.

  3. There’s a level of vulnerability that is required to being delivered.Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. What the means is that we don’t have to live In that wilderness season, we don’t have to be victims, we can gain all comfort through Christ so let’s boldly step into that healing today!

Matthew 18:21-35

Forgiveness is not about keeping score, it’s about loosing count. The enemy’s plan is to keep us bound up in our offense, anger, and rage so we cannot walk into the fullness of what God has for us. We gotta serve an eviction notice to the enemy’s lie and release our pain and know that through Jesus we can receive healing from the inside out. Forgiveness is not acting like nothing happened, it’s saying this pain will no longer control me.Things to know about unforgiveness:

  1. Unaddressed hurt can turn into hate.
  2. If we do not heal what hurt us, we will bleed on those that never cut us.
  3. Everything we do, doesn’t only affect us but also everyone around us.

Things yo know about forgiveness

  1. Forgiveness is not excusing the behavior but it’s saying, that behavior won’t destroy our heart anymore.
  2. Taking pain caused by people to God in prayer will always change our perspective.
  3. Our blessings come with how we handle forgiveness.

Repentance leads to God’s forgiveness in the kingdom. When we ask for forgiveness, Jesus gives it to us. We should able to forgive those that hurt us, as many times as Jesus would forgive us for our sins. If we have been forgiven, we should be able to forgive those who hurt us. Forgiveness allows us to heal from our pain. We have to be healed so those wounds can turn into scars and we can tell the word, “I know how it’s like to be hurt, but I also know what its like to be healed.” This is how we break out of the prison of unforgiveness.

Application: Have you found yourself stuck in the prison of unforgiveness because of the pain you’ve experienced? What wounds of you need to allow to heal, so you can walk in the fullness of what god has for you? Who do you need to forgive today to begin healing from the inside out?Prayer:
Lord, I repent for harboring unforgiveness in my heart towards those that have hurt me. I realize that my unforgiveness has stopped you from doing all that you want to do in my life and through me. I forgive those who have hurt me and ask that you begin to heal me from that pain. Today, I chose to break out of the prison I have been stuck in. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Heaven is looking for a miracle to take place here on earth. But sometimes miracles can only come through our yes. Saying yes doesn’t mean life will get easier or more fun but it will be fulfilling. Everyday is a great position to worship to Him. There will be some days that the yes comes easy and some days, our yes will come with a fight but in all seasons, we’ll continue to choose to make a commitment to Christ.

  1. A yes in heaven is a no to other things, but it will always be a trade up.
  2. Even Christ Jesus had to say yes to God in the midst of rejection.
  3. We will have to say yes to looking foolish in a godless world but that is the heroes journey.
  4. It’s time to put boundaries on our past self and release God from the box we’ve put him in.
  5. Sometimes to say yes, we’ll need friends that will not allow us to stay in our no.

Faith, courage, hard work, & persistence are the four things that we’ll need to say yes over and over again. Every hero in the bible said yes, so why are we still saying no? The word is honest and true and it stands when it says the righteous will never go forsaken and our hunger for Jesus will drive us to a new level!Application: What are somethings that God is asking you to say yes to, that you’ve said no to? Are you missing any of the 4 quadrants to be successful, if yes, how can you begin to work to grow in that?Prayer: Father, I say yes and amen with my life. I realized that it’s my yes that releases the miracles. Thank you for your patience with me but I pray that I won’t delay your plan any longer. Let your kingdom come and your will be done in my life. In Jesus name, Amen!

The Pioneering Church

We’re so grateful for the pioneers and revivalists of the past but God is calling those in this generation to help bring His kingdom to earth!
To the level we honor God, is the level that we’ll experience His glory. And the way we honor, is the way we’ll perceive Him! For that reason Joshua and Caleb were able to make it through to the end. Despite the giants they faced, despite standing out from the crowd, and despite the battles, they always knew how to Honor God.We have been called to pioneer in this generation but that will come with a few challenges:1. Pioneering will cause us to breakout of old mindsets, that keep us trapped in Egypt.2. God might not give us the full picture but the giants in our promise land were left behind so we can lean on God.3. Sometimes God allows things so that He can prepare us for endurance. Because it is our character that produces hope!4. God is not creating slaves. He is creating sons because sons get to be a part of the journey.Know that it’ll be hard. Deliverance was instant but freedom is a process that will cost us everything! Don’t quit in the middle of stepping into your promise land because of the giants you’ve seen but embrace the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.Application: Where in your life did you stop because you saw “giants” that seemed unconquerable to you? How can you begin to see the God of the giants in that situation today?Prayer: Father, I thank you for the spirit of love, power & a sound mind that will help me get through the wilderness into the next season. I pray that I leave old habits and mindsets behind and that I will press into you through the pain. I want to pioneer for you! In Jesus name, Amen.

Do we want to become more like Jesus Christ? Is there a passion to look more like Him?

When we receive Jesus something new takes place for us, in us, and as us. Christ wants to be the Center of our entire life. When He gets in all of who we are everything changes, but we have to be willing to give Him access to our entire being. Christian's these days don't want to go through anything. We don't want to endure; but if Jesus endured the cross, as His followers we will have to go through somethings because being a Christian ultimately means we will have to become pioneers but as pioneers we have to remember the following..If Christ is bold, I can be.

If Christ is courageous, I can be.

If Christ is compassionate, on I can be.

If Christ is creative, I can be.

If Christ is endurance, I can be.

If Christ is humble, I can be.

If Christ is persevere, 1 can be.

If Christ is passion for the lost, I can be.

If Christ is greatness, I can be.Ultimately, pioneering our life will be a lonely journey.

Don't be afraid of going some place alone and position our life to partner with God instead bringing along an Aaron that will eventually mess things up. Remember that God called us for great things and don't forget to dream and believe again for us and our family!

APPLICATION:

Do you want to make a difference more than you want to make it big? Do you long to be like the David's and Daniel's of old or are you okay with just being a part of the crowd?

PRAYER:

Father, I thank you so much for giving me a pioneering spirit. I pray that you give me strength to endure and show me that there is more to life than what I see. I want your kingdom come and your will to be done in and through my life! In Jesus name, Amen.

We were formed by God. We may look like our parents but we have The Fathers heart and calling in us. Some of us have been told that we were an accident. But God doesn’t make mistakes. Before God formed us in the womb. He molded us and carved out who we were. He designed us way before we were even a thought in our parents mind.God designed us and designed our destiny at the same time. If we don’t fit in, it’s because God designed us to be set apart. He made us different so we can seek for something greater than us. By not fitting in God reminds us of who we aren’t, so we can discover who we are. The more we compare ourselves to others, the more we’ll fail to be who we’re called. God put a call and destiny in our life not to fit in, so we can become leaders and pioneers. When you’re walking in the kingdom mindset you should know…

  1. Christ FOR you. He loves you at ALL times. His love is not bases on us, it’s based on Him.
  2. Christ IN you. We invite Him into every part of our life, good and bad.
  3. Christ ON you. Instead of putting on our old and dirty clothes. It’s time to wear and put on Christ.

When we’re in Christ we become everything He is. When we’re in Christ, He doesn’t see our failures because He turns them into our testimony. We need to put on the armor of Christ everyday. The armor is not some religious stuff, the armor of is Jesus, so we can’t forget to put ON Christ.Application:
Do you currently feel like you don’t fit in? What are some things that come to mind about who God has designed you to be? Are you currently walking in all 3 of the kingdom mindsets? If not, how can you begin to do that today?Prayer:
Father, Today I receive and believe that you’re FOR me, IN me, and ON me. I ask that you remove all the dead things and become the center of my life. Thank you for not only loving me but also liking who I am. I’m ready to discover all that you designed me to be. In Jesus name, Amen.

We want to be a church that is advancing the kingdom of God and one of the ways we do that is by partnering with the vision He imparts to His children.

Nothing great in life happens with one person alone, everything that's brought into this earth takes partnership and collaboration. Even a seed needs the soil to produce fruit.

What you do in the world is and can be ministry unto God.

Your time, talent, and treasure, is more than just for you to change the world around you.

Vision gives us something to look forward to and to work towards!

Even Jesus had people that partnered with His vision the men and women who had been set free of their demons, who then chose to be a part of a ministry that's setting someone else free!

Jesus didn't have tough skin but He had a tough source. As people, we will undoubtably hurt each other. Tough skin ruins our purpose and destiny because we wall up and build fences that end up imprisoning us. Vision rarely comes to prayer without the labor of great prayer because big vision requires God help. Here are some reasons as to why we pray:
1. The power comes when we put Gods word in your mouth so we not only read the word, but we pray the word.
2. You are a citizen of heaven and what you need to know is that you have a the authority to enter the throne room.
3. Out of all things the disciples saw Jesus doing, the only thing they asked for instruction on how to pray.
4. Don't forget your place alongside of Him. The king is not looking for you to show up in a king James prayer of perfection. He is looking for intimacy through prayer.
5. Wherever you're at God hears you, even if that prayer is worked out in fear and trembling. God hears your heart and not just words.
6. Some of the best words that you might say, might be said through tears but we can go to Him broken without our religious words and share our hearts to the father.
7. Of all the things God can do, the only thing the Lord cannot do is answer a prayer that you didn't pray. He is waiting on YOU to open your mouth and speak to the one who loves you.
We have lost the passion to learn how to pray so let's stir that up in our hearts today. You have to go to the prayer closet because out of that place will come the blueprints to change the world!

How many times have we been led to a mess by the Lord but we find Him resting in the middle of that mess? God's not frustrated like we are frustrated, He's not worried like we are worried. But there are three types of storms we will go through in life:

  1. Correcting Storms 2. Perfecting Storms 3. Perspective Storms

This is the type of storm that the disciples were in. This reveals a new aspect of the God's nature. Sometimes God is showing us who He is. The antidote to fear is not focusing on our fear but focusing in the perfect love that has given us authority over the fear. The only way to get a handle over our fear is to put on the mind of Christ! Here are some ways to get a sound mind:

  • Stop waiting for change, to change our mind.

Stop waiting for the situation to change because we can make a different choice. Change starts as a choice, decide today to live where we're going. We gotta believe it, when you've got nothing. It starts with us!

•We don't need a miracle, we need better management.

The same sun that melts wax, hardens clay. The bible tells us to control and manage our thoughts. It's not how we are it's how, we choose to be. The second that lie hits our heart, repent and get rid of the weak excuse.

•Who is our mind serving?

When our spirit is weak, it serves our flesh but with constant communion with the Holy Spirit we will run vision for our spirit. What we feed our mind becomes our mindset. God calls us to control our mind but it's our mindset what controls us. Create a new path in our mind with the truth of the word.

  • Expect miracles along the way

Watch God take things that took forever to restore and surprise us. Our expectation is the water for our seed. Are we believing Him to transform our whole life with one encounter with him??Let's stop confessing what we feel but let's confess what we believe!

Validation from the Lord is accessible to us every day if we can open our ears and hear it. As we continue to walk with the Lord, He wants us to know exactly the ways in which He is willing to show up for us. God was pleased with Jesus, the Son, before He performed a single miracle. So, remember this: our God is already proud of us because His validation of us isn't based on our actions but on how He feels about us.

Here are a few things to remember as you walk with the Lord:

  1. The wilderness isn't a punishment; it's a preparation for graduation. The devil pushes, but the Lord leads.
  2. If the wilderness is where the Lord has led us, then let's use it to crucify the desires of our flesh within us.
  3. God will work with us because He is a God of grace, but there will be a day when He will call us to conquer the things that we have been struggling with.
  4. The devil uses the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life to tempt us, but the Lord uses the cross to sanctify us before He fulfills His promises to us.
  5. Sometimes, it's not losing that makes us tired, but the continuous battles, even when we are winning.
  6. Those who make it past victory are the ones who realize that in the midst of darkness, angels are present.

Even Jesus experienced fatigue, but remember that when you're tired, it might be because you've already overcome. Learn how to give and receive from the Lord, who can provide us with a fullness of joy that no human can offer. Wherever we're afraid to go, God will show us that just as He cares for sparrows, He is already looking after us

Life's full of ups and downs, mountains, and valleys. God publicly validated Jesus when He was baptized, but immediately after, God called Jesus into the valley. When you receive the mandate of purpose in the kingdom, you answer the call. The call is not always in the highs, but if we're afraid of the lows, we'll never find out how powerful God really is. We need to trust the process but also be prepared to fight the good fight against the devil. We need to recognize the three weapons the devil has to defeat him in battle:

Lust of the flesh

Lust of the eyes

Pride of life

These are the same tactics the devil used on Eve. Eve lost the battle because she had a second-hand revelation. She had heard from Adam what God said. However, Jesus defeated the devil because He first conquered His flesh and had a first-hand revelation of the word of God. To survive the upcoming fight, we need to prepare and know the word of God within us. In the midst of the fight, we need to tell the devil, "It Is Written..

Remember, if our teacher is allowing our testing, they're trying to tell us that we already have all the answers we need to graduate to the next level. All we have to do is pass the test.

God's perception of the prophets and the prophets' perceptions of themselves are completely opposite. In this day and age, we are fully convinced that we know God's heart and are speaking on His behalf. But how can we be so sure? The prophets of this age are busy with full calendars and an abundance of activities. But what does the Lord say? They speak not out of listening to His word. They have activity but they do not have authority.

God wants us as a church to be filled with His authority and to release His power. God wants His church to be a gateway to heaven.

In this scripture, the Lord shows observation, offering, and gives us further understanding:

Observation: We're so busy that we don't fully spend time with Him. The God that we worship is close at hand, and although we live in an age where everything else is close at hand, the great tragedy for our generation is that we think we know the Lord, but we have only scratched the surface of who He is. He is not JUST close at hand but far away, in need of pursuit.

Offering: He is giving us access to His throne and wants us to come into proximity with Him. We have to disconnect to connect. There have to be seasons in our lives where we push back on all the other things that are close at hand. There are parts of God that can only be discovered when we give God our day.

Understanding: It's the far away God that comes to us in moments of our life that marks us with calling, with commission, giving us faith and vision. The far away God ruins us for the ordinary and makes us say that we don't want anything else but heaven right now.

We're sustained by the close at hand God, but revival is started by the far away God. There are some levels of demonic oppression that can only be broken with prayers to the far away God, so let's press into that today!

In our lives, we often strive to control certain aspects, but we must acknowledge that our efforts can only take us so far. When we attempt to control things, we are essentially admitting that we trust ourselves more than we trust God. However, it is crucial to realize that God does not want us to submit to Him partially; rather, He desires that we surrender everything to Him and trust in His process. It is important to recognize that our sins not only affect us but can also have an impact on those around us. As Christians, we are called to live as examples of the gospel, but our disobedience can lead to turmoil in other people's lives.

There are several reasons why we might feel compelled to control things:

  • It is our default mode of operation.
  • At times, taking control can yield positive results.
  • We might feel impatient and rush God's timing.

In situations where we are following God's will and obeying His commands, we must trust that things will unfold as they are meant to. It is essential to understand that sin encompasses more than just our overt wrongdoings. Even if we make choices out of disobedience, we are still living in sin.

When we place ourselves in God's hands, we can rest assured that regardless of the challenges we face, we will be okay because we are designed to be with Him. Therefore, it is crucial to let go of our need for control and surrender ourselves to His divine will. By doing so, we can live a life that is pleasing to God and be a positive influence on those around us.

This world can offer us a fleeting sense of peace, but as believers, we serve a God who offers us a peace that surpasses all understanding. Fear can often push us to make impulsive decisions, but when we allow ourselves to experience true peace, we can learn to be still and make wise choices.

It's important to recognize that not all fear is created equal. Healthy fear can equip us to face challenges and grow as individuals, while unhealthy fear can hold us back and limit our potential. Instead of letting fear control us, we can choose to let it fuel our faith and motivate us to become better versions of ourselves.

We should never allow the fear of the unknown to keep us from stepping into the fullness of what God has for us. Even when we feel like things are coming to an end, we must remember that it's not over until it's good. Fear may tempt us to break rules or compromise our values, but as followers of Christ, we are called to walk with grace and integrity, opening doors for others who are believing for the same things we are.

So let us not be ruled by fear, but by faith in a God who offers us true and lasting peace. Let us use our fear to become stronger and better equipped to face whatever challenges come our way, always trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.

Being faithful and consistent is not always exciting and it's not always cheered on by people. However, it is crucial to keep our faith and consistently pursue the creator of our call. In the process, He gives us the confidence and wisdom to do what He intends for our life. Our faith should bring forth fruit, and to achieve that, we need to understand and implement the following points:

  1. Faith takes a new vision. This new vision only comes when we seek the things above and not earthly things. We should not combat our heavenly promise with earthly reasoning. Instead, we should focus on our faith and seek God's guidance to acquire a new perspective.
  2. Faith takes action. Joshua didn't just talk about the word God gave him; he acted upon it. Similarly, we should not just talk about what God has asked us to do; we should do it. Taking action is a crucial step in fulfilling our call.
  3. Faith takes patience. We need to be willing to be inconvenienced in our day and age to see what God has said come to pass. God is good and just, and He will not cut corners because that goes against His truth and love.
  4. Faith takes consistency and commitment. We have to be okay with the process because it ensures that we remain expectant for the outcome. The process also ensures that we don't take the credit but give all the glory to God.
  5. Faith takes follow-through. When we try to take down the walls alone in our timing, we have nothing to show for it. However, when we obey and trust God and actually follow through with what He has asked us to do, we will see His glory come through like never before.

In conclusion, it is essential to keep the faith and consistently pursue God's call for our life. By implementing the above points, we can bring forth fruit and see God's glory manifested in our life.

The Lord is never unsure of the grand plans He has in store for us. When He created us, He put on both the hats of an architect and an engineer. His thoughts and plans for us are as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. We are merely on loan from God to our earthly fathers. Therefore, the fact that we are still here means that the engineer has done something right. Despite the trials and tribulations that we have endured, we are still here, living and breathing today. This is because we have a purpose that we are yet to fulfill.

However, it is not uncommon for us to forget that we need to rely on God, our Father, for all instructions and directions. We often forget that people are fallible and will, at some point, let us down. But God has no quitting point. He is always there for us, no matter how bleak things might seem.

Many of us live our lives for God as if we are playing hide and seek. But God is not hiding in ways we cannot find Him. He is hiding just enough to create a sense of desperation in our hearts, so that we can seek Him with all our heart and soul.

One of the most remarkable things about Jesus is that He is the only God who got into life with us. It was His compassion that compelled Him to meet us in our mess. And because the Father sent Him, He ran all the way. It is like the story of the prodigal child coming home. We get to return to our Father daily, no matter how far we have strayed.

In conclusion, we must remember that we are on this earth for a reason, and that reason is to fulfill the purpose that God has for us. We must seek Him with all our heart and soul, knowing that He will never lead us astray.

God does not want us to worry about anything in our lives. In fact, He commands us not to worry. When we worry, we create chaos in our lives that was never meant for us to carry. To open the door to faith, we must close the door to worry. It is important to understand that worrying is a manifestation of an orphan mentality. It is when we think that we are pulling the yoke by ourselves and ploughing the field of life alone. However, when our faith is completely in Him, God will teach us the ways of life. He will guide us through the ups and downs of life, and show us the path we should take. It is important to trust in Him and know that He will never abandon us. With Him, we can overcome any obstacle and live a fulfilling life.

Pastor Jeremy reminds us that God's command to not worry is not just a suggestion. It is a command that we must follow if we want to maintain a peaceful life. Worry takes our focus away from God and puts it on our problems, which creates chaos and anxiety in our lives. However, when we put our faith completely in God, He will teach us the ways of life, and guide us through all the ups and downs we may face. We must trust in Him and know that He will never abandon us. When we let go of our worries and rely on Him, we can live a fulfilling life and overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

Moreover, the speaker highlights that worrying often leads to an orphan mentality, where we believe that we are alone in our struggles and have to bear our burdens alone. This mentality can lead to isolation and further anxiety. But when we trust in God, we realize that we are never alone and that He is always with us, ready to help us in our time of need. It is important to remember that we are not made to carry our burdens alone, but rather to give them to God and let Him carry us through our struggles.

We often forget that God is a Father God, full of love and mercy. No matter how good our earthly father is, they are still human and have flaws that can affect their parenting. Sometimes, we tend to see our Heavenly Father through the same lens we view our earthly fathers, but this is not the right way to approach Him. Let us ask God to renew our minds so that we can see Him for who He is, complete and whole, without any preconceived notions.

Our Heavenly Father has adopted us into His house, and He is pleased to not just give us some things, but to give us ALL things. His love for us is boundless, and His grace is infinite. We can trust in Him with all our hearts, and He will never let us down.

Here are 7 things that you may chase after if you are not rooted in the truth of God's love:

  1. Passions: chasing after things that give us temporary pleasure and excitement, but ultimately leave us feeling empty and unfulfilled.
  2. Possessions: accumulating material possessions that we think will make us happy, but in reality, only create more stress and anxiety.
  3. Position: seeking power and status in our careers or social circles, thinking that it will bring us happiness and fulfillment.
  4. Performance: trying to prove our worth and value through our achievements and accomplishments, leading to burnout and exhaustion.
  5. People: looking for validation and acceptance from others, rather than finding our identity in Christ.
  6. Place: constantly searching for a better city, job, or environment, hoping that a change of scenery will solve our problems.
  7. Power: desiring to control our lives and the lives of others, rather than surrendering to God's plan and will for our lives.

However, we must remember that love must precede service, not the other way around. The Father's love gives us the ability to live the Christian life, and we must choose to put Him above all these things. What would you choose today? Let's ask God to help us choose Him and His love above all else.

In our generation, we are called to do great things. But in order to fully understand our call, it is important to take a moment to reflect on the ones who have come before us. We are not the first to run this race; we are simply grabbing the baton from the heroes of faith that have paved the way for us. And as has been the case throughout history, in every generation, God raises up a leader who does not fit in. This is because if you fit in, you won't need God.

While it is exciting to look ahead to the next level, it is important to remember that the road ahead will not be easy. Just as Joshua was able to look past the giants that stood in his way, it was only because he never lost sight of his God. We must remind ourselves to keep our eyes fixed on Him, and to trust that He will help us overcome any obstacle that lies ahead.

If you stay stuck in the past, you will never be able to break free from the system that is currently holding you back. God has called you to a new table, and it is up to you to use your maturity and growth to fight the new fight that lies ahead.

When you finally reach the promised land, you may find that the Lord will no longer provide manna for you; instead, He will give you the seed to plant your own food. This means that you will have to fight for your future. But rest assured, you will not be fighting alone. God will be with you every step of the way.

It is time to claim the territory of your life and to trust that God will guide you every step of the way. Take a moment to thank Him for getting you through your past, and for all that He has taught you along the way. But now it's time for you to be an active participant in your own story. You may have slept with your armor on, but as you continue to be fitted in righteousness, you will be able to fight the good fight of faith to the very end.

"To SEE" in the original language implies "to realize" and "to attain vision". This means that it is not simply a matter of dreaming about something that you cannot see, but rather, it involves comprehending what the Lord intends for you to grasp. If you are currently pursuing something, bear in mind that it all began with a mental image. This image only comes about when you align yourself with the Lord. However, in order to possess the vision that God has given you, you must be a good steward of it. Visionaries have the ability to bring things into existence by declaring and believing them, thus allowing us to alter the environment in which we find ourselves. For example, Elijah progressed from visualizing rain to experiencing an abundance of it.

Praise functions as a conduit to our vision, allowing us to surmount the obstacles and impediments that stand in our way. Praise demonstrates that we have been in the presence of the Lord, regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. In the end, we may never receive validation from others about our vision. Nevertheless, as long as we have wise guidance, humble ourselves before God, and block out the noise around us, we will be able to see in the natural world what we have visualized in the supernatural realm.

It's important to understand that possessing a God-given vision requires more than just seeing it in your mind's eye. To achieve it, you must take practical steps to make it a reality. This involves being a responsible steward of your vision, assessing your progress, and taking action to move closer to your goal. The process can be difficult at times, but it's important to remember that praise can help you overcome the obstacles and stumbling blocks that come your way. It's also important to have wise counsel and humility, which can help you stay grounded and focused on your vision.

At the end of the day, seeing in the natural what you've visualized in the supernatural requires unwavering faith and trust in God. It's important to remember that the Lord has a plan for your life, and your vision is a part of that plan. By aligning yourself with Him and being a good steward of your vision, you can bring your dreams into existence and shift the atmosphere around you.

Insecurity and victimhood can be debilitating mindsets that hold us back from walking through the doors God has opened for us. We have to allow God to transform our minds and hearts so that we can conquer everything He has in store for us on this earth. Our mind is a precious gift from the Lord, and the enemy will try to attack it. However, we can protect it by anchoring our identity in the anointing of the Lord and His name over our lives, which makes us more than conquerors.

Let us remember the woman who had the issue of blood; she believed and had faith that she would be healed before she even touched Jesus. In the same way, we have to come to a place in our minds where we can think and believe before things happen in order to experience breakthrough. This means trusting in God's promises and having faith that He will come through for us.

It is important to remember that miracles are not always measured in the same way as sin. While sin is sin in God's eyes, faith is not measured by how impressive it appears. Instead, the Lord wants to know if our faith has endurance and if we are willing to hold on to it even in the face of adversity.

Finally, we must trust in the Lord's promises and know that He will never let us drown. Although we may encounter difficulties and obstacles as we step out in faith, we can take comfort in the fact that God is always with us, guiding us and protecting us every step of the way.

Our lives are like the raw ingredients a chef compiles before they begin to bake. In order to make cookies, you'll need flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. However, making cookies is not the only thing you can do with these ingredients. You can also make cakes, brownies, or even bread. The possibilities are endless, just like the potential in our lives.

God has a purpose for each one of us, and it is our responsibility to discover what that purpose is. Sometimes, it takes time and patience, but eventually, we will find it. As we look back on our lives, we can see how God has been working in us, even when we didn't realize it. He has been shaping us, molding us, and preparing us for a greater purpose.

When we are in our calling, we may still experience frustration, bitterness, and rejection. But those are the very things that God wants to use to make something new in us. He wants to take our struggles and turn them into something beautiful.

God has given each one of us unique gifts and talents. And when we surrender our lives to Him, He will use those gifts and talents for His glory. We may not always know what the future holds, but we can trust that God has a plan for our lives. And when we let go of our own plans and trust in Him, we will find the destiny and purpose that He has for us.

So let us embrace the raw ingredients in our lives and allow God to use them to make something new. Let us trust in His plan for us and have faith that He will fulfill His promises. And let us live a life that is surrendered to Him, knowing that He has a destiny and purpose for each one of us.

As believers, we can gather in church on Sundays, but we are called to be the church every day of the week. The anointing of the Holy Spirit equips us to not just proclaim the Gospel, but to demonstrate its life-changing power to the world.

Here are five amazing attributes of the Holy Spirit:

  1. It brings the power of God
  2. It is tangible (something you can feel and experience)
  3. It brings joy (not happiness)
  4. It brings breakthrough
  5. It is transferable

Although the anointing may be on your life, but it is not just for your life!

When fear fills your heart, it can cause you to feel trapped and limited in your abilities. On the other hand, faith has the power to expand your horizons and give you the courage to dream and hope in God. It takes great faith to plant seeds in a time of famine or to dig up wells in a dry and barren land. Faith is also what gives you the strength to fight and overcome the challenges that come your way. In the upcoming season, we will delve deeper into our spiritual wells to access the living water that God has promised us.

Here are some compelling reasons why you should consider digging deeper:

  1. When you dig deep, you can prosper even in the midst of a famine. Your faith in God will enable you to find solutions to your problems, and His grace will provide for your needs.
  2. There are times when you must fight and contend for the blessings that God has in store for you. Digging deeper into your faith will give you the strength and courage to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.
  3. Just because you are in a good place does not mean that you have reached God's ultimate destination for your life. By digging deeper into your faith, you can discover the plans and purposes that God has for you, and take your life to the next level.
  4. Your journey may be long and difficult, but you can be assured that you will eventually make it to your well or promise. By staying focused on God's promises and continuing to dig deep into your faith, you can have the confidence to press on towards your goals.

Remember, God may challenge you to dig a new well at any time, so don't get too comfortable in your current circumstances. Keep pushing forward in obedience to God's words, and stay rooted in the center of His will. By doing so, you can be fruitful even in times of famine and experience the abundant life that He has promised to you!

Have you ever felt God compelling you towards a certain direction in life, yet it didn’t make complete sense? Often in these moments, we feel a wrestle between listening to the Holy Spirit or remaining stagnant due to the unknown. Understanding the power of God’s leading, this week Pastor Jeremy speaks on the necessity of extreme trust in God.

God’s ways are always higher than ours, and we must remember that we won’t see the completed picture immediately. In the unknown of what God is doing, we must remain diligent to His leading even when it may not make sense. It is in the perplexity of it all that God comes through and reveals His glory in the end.

In the process, may we choose to have radical trust in Jesus and His ways. We must remember that Jesus has need of our lives, and when Jesus has need to use us, the time is now. May our heart posture continuously be, “God, wherever you go, I’ll go” because we trust His ways are good.

What did it mean for Jesus? What does it mean for us today? Let's catapult into this message of hope for today and tomorrow.

God is in the business of finishing the work He begins in us. Jesus came to do something mighty in each of our lives. He longs for us to walk in full freedom. Jesus paid for it on the cross. How do we walk out this freedom in every area of our lives? What do we do when hope feels cut off? Jesus came to make sure every debt in our life has been paid in full. We still battle with a mindset of lack, loss, and brokenness. God doesn't want us stuck in these cycles.

Jesus' love drove Him to the cross for you. He paid with His life for you to be free in every area of your life. God does not want you to live your life in bondage to mindsets, emotions, and circumstances. He paid the price of His life to redeem you to freedom. How can you use the power of the cross to enter into true freedom this Resurrection Sunday? Tune in, and tap into your new resurrection life!

This week Pastor Jeremy speaks on the topic of serving as a Christian. In our human nature, we often find ourselves being selfish and wanting others to do things for us. However, this week’s sermon touches on the importance of giving our lives.

When it comes to living for Jesus, it should be our desire to live our lives after His example. Although He was on earth as the Son of God, He also was the greatest servant. Just as Jesus knew His assignment was to serve the Kingdom through attending to the needs of others, so we must remember that our lives are not our own. We should see life as a gift to be used by God to love and help others for God’s glory.

As we think about the gifts, talents, and abilities that we have, may we see them as a source to serve Jesus. When we serve those around us, even when it’s not always convenient, we serve Jesus and expand the Kingdom. Rather, than expecting others to meet our needs, let us allow God to use as He sees fit because it is the greatest reward.

This week Pastor Jeremy Johnson gives us another great sermon on what we need to be fear’s greatest nightmare. Through the sermon series we’ve been learning that though the war on fear can be a daunting task, it is one that is conquerable only with the help of God.

When implementing the practices to conquer fear, we must put in the spiritual work to build our spirit man for the battle. We do this by strengthening ourselves with the Word of God and abiding in His presence. As we do this, we gain perseverance to keep going in our spiritual journey to freedom and learn that we can endure any battle with God on our side.

May we stay disciplined in investing our time with God to become a warrior for His kingdom. In doing so, we gain direction and strategy from heaven to overcome fear. In this direction, our obedience breaks off the bondage of fear and leads us to new life in Christ that we can help others find too. Let us keep going strong in the faith knowing God is always faithful to help us in every battle we face.

Listen to Pastor Christy’s spirit-filled sermon titled “Into the Wild”, which focuses on the struggle of rejection and how to deal with it. As humanity, we each have an innate desire to be accepted. However, when we are met with disapproval, we begin to sacrifice ourselves and devotion to God, simply to have the fulfillment of others. But we must remember that when others disapprove of us, God still calls us chosen.

With this remembrance, we come to the realization of who God says we are. Even in times when we are met with seasons of rejection, the tension of wanting to please others and God brings about new levels of knowing our Father when we choose Him. As our heart’s greatest desire becomes Jesus, we embrace the acceptance of our King and do not have to fear how man perceives us.

When we realize God’s position in our lives as the king of kings, we begin to see His words about us outweigh all other views from others. As we bask in the Word of God, we clothe ourselves with the truth He speaks over us. In this, we lose all fear of rejection because we know with Jesus we have nothing to be afraid of. In season and out, may we stand on this truth: God knows us so intently and calls us by name. Take a listen to hear how God’s thoughts about us surpass all other perceptions from others.

Tune in this week to receive an encouraging word from Pastor David Turner about the unexpected events that happen in life, which we call detours. These detours shake our plans and leave us feeling like we’ve hit a dead end.

When our plans encounter a major redirection beyond our control, our initial reaction is to try and make sense of the situation. In the midst of the wondering, we must remember that it is not our job to understand everything in the moment. Instead, we must depend on God even in the unknown. Through this dependency, God transforms us. He also gives us perseverance and new perspective. It is the valleys in life that teach us what we can’t learn on the mountaintops. And in that, we grow and gain deliverance from the Lord.

Though deliverance may not come easy, we must wrestle through the detour to grow as God intended us to. We can trust that God will help us. He is faithful to bring his promises to fulfillment and provide us the faith we need to believe even when the route takes us through the great unknown.

Get excited because Pastor Jeremy Johnson is continuing our incredible series about "Declaring War on Fear." In Prayer Changes Things, we are digging into the amazing word of God to excavate the gold God has for us to uncover in this New Year. God is ready to equip us to be victorious in every battle.

Christ desires nothing more than for us to live in complete freedom. According to His word, He set us free to experience complete liberty, healing, and deliverance. However, something continues to pull us back into a mindset of fear, binding us from being able to complete the work God called us to do. Today is the day to walk into fullness of freedom in Christ. God doesn't want us caged but desires for us to break every cycle that has held us. Together, we will destroy the works of darkness.

As we press into our fears, we can rest in the knowledge that Christ has already broken every obstacle in the spirit realm to our advancement. Listen up, as Pastor Jeremy encourages us to stand in our authority and cross over into the promise land this year. Together, we will overcome knowing that a "Scared World needs a Fearless Church."

This week we’re starting off the new year strong with a powerful word to declare war on fear. With this new series, Pastor Jeremy shares to overcome fear, we must have a kingdom mindset. In doing so, we will become fear’s greatest threat.

While fear is a spirit that entraps so strongly, we must remember that it so easily enslaves us because it knows we are dangerous to the devil’s schemes. When we seek God and His word, God reveals our heavenly potential and assignment. This assignment was meant to shake the kingdom of darkness and add to the kingdom of God.

As the body of Christ, when we confront fear head on rather letting it go unchecked, we experience the miraculous. Our acknowledgment of God being bigger than our fear kicks the crippling spirit out and brings the management of God in. Take a listen to this podcast to start 2023 understanding the power of fearing God over all other things and watch how it will change your life.
