God wants His children to unite for the unprecedented work He is about to do. It is time to re-align our hearts and our vision to match God’s. In this weeks podcast we get to hear from our very own Downtown Los Angeles Campus Pastor, David Turner! We’re continuing in the series titled “I Love My Church” and he’s diving us into an incredible word on unity!

As we grow deeper into community there are going to be more and more opportunities to become offended with our brothers and sisters. That’s what we can expect when we lower our walls, and start to be vulnerable. The enemy will try over an over again to bait us with offense. But there are a few tools we can use to combat this tactic! We must start with an unoffendable heart, because offense is a choice! Never give up, quitting affects not only you but those around you. Walk with integrity, because in the kingdom success is equated with obedience, and delayed obedience is disobedience! Trust in God with all our heart. And yield through submission, seeing the fruit in our lives will only come once we submit.

The Bible tells us that brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city. The spirit of offense goes way beyond the surface. It breeds anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness, anger, betrayal, and hatred but we have hope in knowing God is our defender, and the healer of our hearts. We are called to do life together, let’s do everything we can to resist the bait of Satan, and run full force chasing the beauty of unity with the body of Christ!

The church is many things. It is a body. It is an army. It is a group of individuals coming together in one accord for the glory of God. In this message, Pastor Christy Johnson, the First Lady of Fearless, shares a special Mother’s Day message on the church being a hospital.

When Jesus was on Earth, He made a profound statement to the religious leaders of his age. He proclaimed that He “didn’t not come for those who think they’re righteous, but for those who know they’re sinners.” He said that “it is not the healthy who need a hospital, but the sick.” We live in a broken, sick world and Jesus came to call not the righteous but the sick.

He wants to make you whole! He wants to heal the wounds and traumas of the past. He wants to bring you to the hospital we call “church” so he can patch you up! But your healing also has purpose; not only does Jesus want to heal you for YOUR sake but for OTHERS as well. You are not meant to stay broken in your hospital bed, but rise in the healing Jesus gave you so you may help others who are in the same hospital bed you once sat in. We are the church: a hospital for the broken!

Happy Mother’s Day, Fearless Family!

As we continue to walk this season with God, God sets appointments for us to prepare us and to mold us. Pastor Christy Johnson preaches a brilliant message on The Appointment with Disappointment.

On Psalms 30:1, God’s word gives us joy and assurance when we face challenges. No matter what we are facing, there are expiration dates to the season that we are in.

In moments of disappointment, God has redeemed and restored all of those moments. Disappointments are God’s way for Him to show us how good of a Father He is to us.

Let’s give Him our defeat, our discouragement and our disappointment, and God will give us his gifts: joy, peace and His grace.

There is something great in God’s will on the other side of disappointment, His love for us.

In this week's episode, Pastor Jeremy Johnson has us on the edge of our seats. I Love My Church, Milkshakes, is a complete surprise; bringing to life an unexpected metaphor which will have you completely enthralled and aghast.

We are all meant to bring something unique to the Body of Christ. God celebrates your differences as the flavors He is bringing to enhance the church body. We are all meant to be a part of God moving forward on the earth. Considering what you want to add to the community is essential if we want to strengthen the church, ourselves, and each other. Not every deposit we make to the church body is beneficial.

Pastor Jeremy grabs our attention in a striking way with a sermon illustration you will NEVER forget. You will not want to miss this hilariously insightful message. It is the kind you share with everyone you know. Join us for this week's journey!
