Fearless LA Podcast

In our closing message for 2019, our Senior Pastor Jeremy Johnson, shares a message entitled I am a Believer. God is offering us an opportunity in 2020 to go beyond belief into faith through action.

We want to live lives that reflect the message and love of Christ. We were no born to simply believe. Even the demons believe and shudder at His Holy name. We differentiate ourselves from just being a "believer" when we put God and His word to the test through our actions. While works do no save us, they show evidence of who truly has faith.

Sometimes changing the world does not look like what you thought it would. God wants to lead you daily on the small, seemingly insignificant steps that lead to lasting change. He calls us to incredible things that can only be carried out through His grace, plan and strength. He does not like to bless us through conventional means and systems. He takes out of the box approaches to fulfilling our destiny, then no one can take credit for His handiwork. Let's jump into the word and dissect how to walk out our faith and destiny in 2020!

In this week's episode of Fearless podcast, we hear Pastor Henry Seeley share his message titled, "This is How I Fight My Battles!" He speaks on the enemy’s tactics to destroy us, the Lord's plan to protect us and how we can overcome through the power of the Holy Spirit. Staying in God's presence activates His Spirit to move on our behalf in a deeper way.

The enemy will use anything and anyone to distract us, destroy us and get us off track. He will bring every plan from A to Z to break us when we are in the cusp of breakthrough. God is wanting to fight on our behalf, but are we willing to trust His hand to take control of our personal situations? He will lead, protect us and set Himself up as a wall between us and that which is set to destroy us. He is waiting on us to make room for Him in our lives.

Like the air, He is not visible, but always present. We cannot see Him with our eyes, but God is always at work. While the enemy is breathing down our necks, God's presence is covering us when we choose to abide. The enemy will take every opportunity to speak negatively into our lives, chase us and weigh us down. God wants us to come up higher by abiding in His presence. This allows Him to address the issues in our life. He has a better way, but He is waiting for us to respond with a “yes”. Let's dig into this inspiring message on God's loving hand.

When we give our lives to Jesus, we now have another relationship to cultivate and learn how to navigate. Luckily, we have the Bible that guides us through this relationship! In this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson dives into a new Family Value, “Prayer is Our Source”. To have a deep intimate relationship with God, our source HAS to be PRAYER! When we walk through trials, we have a CHOICE how to respond. We can choose to let our feelings like fear, anxiety, and depression rule us, or we can take hold of PEACE. Prayer is the only way to release the supernatural power of God in your life! If you want to see miracles happen in your lifetime, you MUST learn how to tap into this source of prayer! Whatever you’re walking through this week, we pray this podcast gives you the tools to pray like you’ve never prayed before!

On this week's episode from Fearless LA, guest speaker, Pastor Pat Schatzline shares his message titled “Restore the Priestly Kings”. There has long been a separation between the call to be a king and priest within the bible and modern day church, or has there? Pastor Pat clears up common misconceptions about what it means to be called to business or ministry and the fine line in between.

There are differences between the mantles of a king and priest. However, through the word we see several people who served as a king and priest including King David and Jesus. Could there be a closer connection? During this season, God is birthing opportunities for kingdom entrepreneurs that are also ministers of His love. He wants to give us breakthrough but we must surrender to His process.

God wants to remove any orphan mentality we carry inside of us. It is time to remove delays and obstacles from our lives. However, "until the issue of paternity is put to rest, we will always try to live with the wrong family," with the wrong people and in the wrong circles. The issue of paternity has been laid to rest.  Jesus died to remove the question and restore us to the Father. He has certain mandates to bring us into freedom and shift us into the life He has promised us through His word. Let's dive in to this incredible, relevant, practical and timely word regarding our personal direction.

For this week's impactful message from visiting pastor, Pat Schatzline, he speaks on "Restoring the Roar. " God wants to repair our hopes, passions, dreams and identities to get us back on the path He designed for us. His original blueprint for our lives superseded anything we can ask, think or imagine.

God wants to destroy fear in every area of our lives. His heart is to restore identity and power through His presence. God allows our past to become our university for the future. He weaves together all the complexities of our lives to create an intricate story of love and hope. We cannot allow fear to continue robbing us of peace, hope and God given opportunities.  He wants to shift the atmosphere of our lives by empowering us.

We were born for such a time as this. However, to walk into the God given destiny over our lives, we have to confront fear. This is a pre-requisite for greatness. We have to become fully dependent on Him as our source. We cannot simply rely on our own gifts and talents. His presence and word have to be the fuel to our fire, pushing us forward. We must stop trying to please people and letting their desires dictate our actions. God has a higher plan to lead us in a supernatural anointing. Partnering and agreeing with His thoughts about us is the first step to experiencing this reality. Let's lean in to this week's podcast, and connect to God's heart for our lives.

In this weeks podcast we are blessed to hear from the Lady of the House, Christy Johnson. We are continuing in our series “Family Values” and this value is “Servanthood is our Position”.

Servanthood is the highest honor in our walk with the Lord. You’re never going backwards when serving, you’re always moving forward, always advancing! Loving God and serving people are one in the same. So if I truly love God, I will naturally be inclined to serve others! It will not feel like a task. Even if our flesh is tired, serving with rejuvenate our spirit!

If servanthood is the job title, than stewardship is the job description. If we’re stewarding our gifts and our talents, we will be using them for the Lord. Whatever you’re going through this week, take a moment to see who you can serve, not so you can be rewarded, but solely because servanthood is our position!

Every family has values that they stand by in every season. The great thing is that the same applies in God's kingdom! Pastor Jeremy is taking 10 biblical values and breaking them down to build our essential Family Values! This week we journey into the second part of “Servanthood is Our Position”.

Pastor Jeremy shared “Anything valuable that you don’t protect will be stolen.” This rings true in our position as servants in the kingdom of God. What an honor it is to take our rightful place as a servant in the kings house! “Serving removes boundaries from God and puts boundaries on everything else." Have you ever put boundaries around God? We never practice this intentionally, but we all have done this. Many times we put boundaries around God. This allows fear, lies, and anxiety run rampant yet we still expect God to meet us in our man-made boundaries.

I wonder if the boundaries we put on God in our finances, family, work, school, dreams and more is impeding the true breakthrough we could experience. If we let God truly run wild in our lives, what would it look like?! What if we could give God the freedom to do as He pleases. We should submit our time, talent and treasure back into the kingdom. He can do more in what we’re putting boundaries around than what we could ask, think or imagine. Challenge yourself this week to let go of your boundaries in order to make room for a miracle only God could make happen.

In this weeks powerful message, we continue with our “Family Values”. Today we dive into the value of “Servanthood is our Position”. When you serve God, serve God with your house and all that is in it. Don’t just serve God alone, serve Him with everything you have authority over; family, finances, body, mind, time, attitude. When serving, we have to serve with passion! Serving is not a threat, it is a thrill. It is not a task or mundane, it is extraordinary and an HONOR and a privilege. Serving God is an opportunity. It’s a chance for God to LOVE you, not God NEEDING you. God doesn’t need what you have to offer because what you have to offer is already His. He wants your HEART. Wherever you’re at this week, we pray you catch on to this value, and that it seriously enriches your life!

This week, Pastor Jeremy returns with a focus on our foundational Family Values - Honor is Our Privelege. He shares on the importance of honoring others regardless of outward appearance, circumstances or behavior.

Honor is one of the few things we cannot place on ourselves. It is something we have the privelege of putting on others and on God. While people may not always deserve it because of their value to God, we honor them. Many times this can be difficult. If we remember who Christ is and our encounters with Him, we will bestow honor even on the undeserving. We hold the understanding that love and honor are possible because of His work on the cross and not our human ability.

The most important thing we will do after surrendering to Christ, is honoring Him. Our lives may not always look picture perfect. The way we honor Him in those moments is indicative of our true heart towards Him. We must make a habit of cultivating honor for our king, savior and maker daily; regardless of whether or not things are going our way.

This life will bring us a variety of good and bad. We must have an ability to keep our eyes and focus on Jesus at all times. It is often when we are running hardest after Christ that we will lose our vision. It is only through life changing encounter and continually affixing value on Him that we are able to finish this race. Our hearts first have to be girded in honor for Him and his children, both lost and found. Let's lean in and glean wisdom from this challenging message.

As of late, we have been living In our prayers! If you haven’t heard, we got a building and we are so thrilled and expectant for what God has for this house! As we continue to learn our family values, Pastor Jeremy introduces us to “Honor Is our Privilege”. Pastor Jeremy abridged 2 Chronicles 7:1 and looked at how Solomon built God's temple with honor. They sacrificed bulls, sheep, and goats just to honor the lord in modern times this was equivalent to millions of dollars today. Insane right? Although sacrificing was the norm god was calling them to ultimately walk in obedience. “Honor is a gift that was made to clothe each other in” in that same way we were meant to honor one another, we were also meant to honor God to a higher with regard. Pastor Jeremy gives us a look at how we can do that with God. This week, How will you honor God? Will it be with your time? Will It be with your Finances? Will it be with your relationships? What does that look like for you? “

We are continuing to dive into our Family Values as a church. In this week's incredible message from our Lead Pastor, Jeremy Johnson, we lean into the value “People Are Our Passion”.

At Fearless, we truly believe in family. We cherish the importance of being deeply and truly rooted in the God's house and into one another as family. Through trials, storms, valleys and mountains; we understand that we were not created to be isolated! No man is an island. If we want the fullness of God, we cannot do this life alone.

The Lord wants us to commit to family. It is time to begin investing into the body of Christ. We know it brings Jesus joy when we establish our loyalty not only to Him, but also His church. We must give to one another; whether it be our love, time, or physical resources. You can give without loving, but you can not love without giving! Our commitment to love Jesus is a commitment to love His bride; even when we have been hurt in the past.

Wherever you are in life, we are believing for you to find your family and tribe. Jesus desires for us to thrive in life giving community. This will enable you to run full force into the God call on your life; lifting each other's hands in celebration!

This week, Pastor Jeremy is back with another one of our core Family Values - Family is Our Commitment. He shares  on the importance of community and covenant.

There are differences between religion and Jesus. Many believe actions speak louder than words, but the Lord is looking for the intentions behind our actions. The things we do should not reflect dead religion only practiced once a week. We carry Jesus in our hearts, and into everything we do, daily. Pleasing Him should be our primary motivation. It will lead us to the right doors, places and people.

We must "hold values that keep us steady through the waves of life." One of Jesus’ clearest values was family. He left heaven to "rescue an orphaned humanity and to restore us to relationship with the Father and each other". Time and time again, Jesus is seen choosing community over religious opinions. He desires for us to value people and relationships with the same measure and urgency.

The first church was not only devoted to knowing the Lord and the word, but to living life together in community. It is through community that we are sharpened, loved and grown in ways that impact our destiny. Too many people have forsaken community for  self-preservation. We have forgotten that Jesus’ primary earthly mission was to restore lost sons and daughters to Himself. Although people are imperfect and may hurt us, Jesus wants us to be committed to cultivating daily fellowship with others in the body. He did not sacrifice His life for us to be filled with His Holy Spirit but reject His people. He wants us to renew our commitment to Him through relationship with each other. Jesus is pleased when we lay down our past hurt and choose to thrive in covenant relationships. Let's lean in to this week's lesson on love and family.

This week, we get to experience an incredible compilation of messages on one of our core Family Values: Jesus is Our Pursuit. Pastor's David Turner, Dalisha Munton and Rich Munton shared complementary messages on pursuing Jesus, our first love and the depth of his love for us.

Most people are busy pursuing happiness but Jesus has set His heart on pursuing us. While "happiness is as fleeting as the wind, never delivering on its promises", Jesus is always faithful and has promised to abide with us. His relentless pursuit gives us perspective on the true meaning of happiness.

In all our endeavors, we must be mindful to set our affections on Him. Stoke the fire and abide in Him as He abides in us. When we have done all that we can do, pursuing Christ and waiting on His promises, we must continue to stand firm. Satisfaction can only be found through Him. Seeing how Jesus continues to pursue us should quicken us to prioritize pursuing Him. Let's listen in on this week's stirring message.

In this week's episode, Family Values - Jesus is Our Pursuit, we learn about God's blueprint for our lives. Pastor Jeremy shares on the importance of seeking God's face and how it impacts the fulfillment of our destiny.

God desires to build something incredible with our lives. During the seasons of construction, it may seem like there isn't really a plan. However, God has a blueprint for each of our lives. We have to trust the promise that He desires to prosper us to give us a hope and a future.

Many times in seeking His hand, we miss His face. We forget that anything other than Him will never be enough to satisfy our hearts. He wants to show us what it truly means to live so we can have the abundant life He promised. We must get back to the basics of abiding in Him.

In this weeks sermon, our lead Pastor Jeremy Johnson dives deeper into the value of “Worship is our weapon,” and gets us to look at the other ways in which worship is present and valuable in our lives.

At Fearless LA, we’ve set out to follow our values as set by our leaders and really make sure our Fearless family understands what those are before we can walk into our promise. Just like the first church, we needed to set out what we stand for before we can truly move past the surface level interactions of religion and move into relationship with God and with others.

Last week, we learned about worship as our promotion and how it is the highest honor we have to lead worship on Earth as it is in Heaven. This week, we look at how worship dismantles division.

Pastor Jeremy uses an instrument to illustrate the uniqueness of each string’s sound, that separately is recognized as pure sound, still important, still valuable. But when these sounds come together, they create beautiful harmonies. Just as music comes together, so are we meant to come together to stir up one another to worship, to love. As iron sharpens iron, so must we sharpen one another to push past praise and worship God when it’s not all working out, truly using our worship as our weapon to combat the midnight and push on till morning.

Guess what ?! You’ve been promoted ! To what you may ask ? It may sound crazy but you are now the worship leader of heaven itself ! In this weeks Podcast, our Lead Pastor , Jeremy Johnson, takes a closer look on worship.

As he brings us deeper on this mind blowing topic of worship, we find out our new position and promotion is to be a worshiper. Before the enemy, Lucifer, fell from heaven; he was actually a worship leader himself. As pride and self promotion came, he was booted out of heaven. This left the position of lead worshippers of heaven open.

God took us, beings made of dirt, something so low to be seated at the right hand of God. All this to show that He can use anything to worship Him. He made us as intricate vessels able to lead the worship of heaven, right here from earth.

One of strongest weapons we have is our worship, it calls on the power of God when we are in our darkest moments. Worship is so important that this week Pastor Christy gave us a different perspective on it, getting us to dig deeper and understand how much value it holds in our lives. Have you ever worshipped when everything seemed to be going wrong? How hard was it to lift your hands in the middle of the night? Can you still praise God even when he hasn’t answered yet?

Sometimes we have to learn to worship God through the “I don’t want to right now” or in the “I don’t see how this is going to change” and fight for a hallelujah when we haven’t seen the promise come to pass yet. Imagine that one more praise, that one more worship being the one that leads to the breakthrough. At FearlessLA we worship in the midnight, beyond understanding, fearlessly, trusting that God is faithful because we know what he’s done before and can do it again.

The articulation of our words in praise to God delights HIS heart, when we take our time to find our own words to thank God, the words that come from our spirit. There is something so beautiful about hearing it from your mouth, no one can worship for you.

Listen in on our Seven Reasons on Why We Worship and let these words pour into your life, opening the door to a closer relationship with God!

In this week’s podcast, we are continuing to dive deeper into one of our core values, “Worship is Our Weapon”. Pastor Jeremy Johnson breaks down the difference between our praise to God and our worship to God. Praise is free; it’s easy to praise because it means we have something to thank Him for after a victory. Worship is a sacrifice; it is honoring God for who He is, not what He can or will do for us. We believe that in any situation we’re walking through, we can stop and give God all of the honor through our worship!

Have you ever experienced a time where nothing in life seemed to be going right? When you had a pile of problems and no foreseeable solution? When the walls felt as if they were caving in and anxiety and fear were knocking on your door? In this weeks sermon, our lead Pastor, Jeremy Johnson dives deeper into one of our core values, “Worship Is Our Weapon”.   Just as Paul and Silas worshiped in prison, so must we worship in the midnights of our lives. When you can worship in the midst of a terrible situation, freedom is yours. Giving God praise for the victory already won stirs the spirit and calls on the strength of the Lord. Not only does our worship break us free but helps set others around us free. Who are the people around you that may need freedom? Is it a family member or a co-worker? As you listen to this week's podcast we hope that this message blesses you and encourages you to use worship as a weapon in the midst of life’s situations.

In this week's sermon, Pastor Jeremy Johnson shares on the meaning and purpose of wisdom. What is it? How do we get it? How do we live it out? How does it impact our decisions?

Humbling yourself before the Lord is the beginning of growing wiser. God takes untrained, unschooled, ordinary men and women, fills them with wisdom and brings them before kings. Wisdom is given within, each person gaining more of it as they walk with God, it's knowledge lived out, one decision at a time. God wants to increase our wisdom to be so influential that we impact nations reminding them of the love of God. Go obediently into your daily life, putting God first,  exchange your distrust for trust and walk out the wisdom given unto you.

It is not about gaining more knowledge for the sake of having knowledge. We need to live out the knowledge that we have. New wisdom is walking in old knowledge.

We were placed by God, strategically in this moment of time, for such a time as this. He wants us to use our faith to live an impactful, supernatural life.

This week of Pastor Jeremy’s “Adulting” series focuses on an important part of our walk with God, the in between. The journey, the road still being traveled on as we move through the seasons of life. But just as the Roman official came to a moment in his life where he humbled himself before God to ask for healing for his son and went on his way taking God at his word that his son was healed. So must we, remain vigilant in trusting the word God gave us about our own lives. What happens when we’re in the midnight section of the in between?  When that word is hard to hold strong too? Or when the voices in your head make you question what you once heard so clearly? It is here that God searches your heart for rocks, things that may be blocking the seeds He wants to plant in the good soil of your heart. Listen in on how to find God’s strength in the in between and know that God will bring what HE said to pass, especially in the seventh hour.

On this week's podcast, Pastor Christy Johnson, Mother of the House, dives deeper on this sermon series “Adulting”. 1 Corinthians 13:11 ESV says “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.” This week, we got to dissect the truth on childlike speech. Through this podcast, we find out that childlike speech not only effects others but can effect yourself and how you speak to yourself. Have you ever had childlike speech with yourself? Or even others? “Crucify your complaints and guard your gratitude.” Sometimes, our complaints overshadow the blessings that we have been praying for. To combat it, guard your gratitude and allow yourself to have a perspective shift. In this life-giving message, we hope this matures your speaking and aids you along the path of adult speaking and maturity in the kingdom.

Have you ever felt like God seemed distant? Have you ever felt like He doesn’t hear you? Or maybe you felt like He was asleep when you were in a crisis? In this message, Ps. Jeremy Johnson, Lead Pastor of Fearless LA, unpacks the idea that even in the midst of the greatest storm, God is with you and has never left. The disciples learned this lesson when they went out to sea in the midst of a storm while Jesus rested on the boat. We sometimes forget that Jesus is still with us because the storms of life are crashing into our boat, causing it to flood. But Jesus is still there. He may be silent, but He is never absent.

You may be going through a storm and think you are going to sink. But, fear not! Jesus is there with you, and if He is so calm that He can sleep through a storm, why should you fear?

Ever made a decision based on how you felt? In this week's latest addition to the Adulting series, “In my Feelings”, Pastor Jeremy Johnson preaches on the connection between our emotions, the flesh and the spirit within.

God doesn’t just bring the dead to life, when you receive Jesus, his spirit then lives within you in exchange for your sin. But no life grows without challenges and in those pits it’s easy to let our emotions take over. Emotions are inherently fickle, changing from one moment to the next. If we wait till we “feel” like following Jesus, how might we be delaying the God call on our lives? Why make life changing decisions based on fickle feelings? God is with you always! Inside the body lies the spirit, a direct connection to God at all times. Getting into relationship with Jesus allows this spirit to mature and become in control of our emotions. Our decision to trust in Gods truth through the living word give us guidance through our spirit to live out our purpose. Develop a relationship with God and watch your spirit take hold of unruly emotions bringing forth a bounty of blessings!

Growing up in our physical body is tough; we out grow our clothes, we out grow our beds and at the same time we might assume that our spirit grows with that. But just as a child has to eat the food off their parent’s plates before they can prepare their own, we also need to feed our spirit in growing in relationship with God. Feeding that hunger in the spirit as you go through the growth spurts along the way.

In this second sermon of the series, Pastor Jeremy walks us through the "growing pains" of maturing in our spirit and shares how adulthood isn't a result of time but is rather a decision to mature in our spirit. When we were children, we thought like children and it was right for that season. But, as you grow you must shed childish things and let God show you what it means to ADULT in your speech, feelings and thoughts. What could be possible for you and I if we found ourselves more and more in the presence of God? What could we learn and change in our life if we sought first the kingdom and acted with LOVE?

Adulting in our spirit leads to more decisions made in love, bettering our thoughts, our actions and exchanging childish ways for gifts found in the presence of God. Hear how God can transform your life and take you from glory to glory while we grow into spiritual giants.

What comes to mind when you think of the word “adult?” Taxes? Children? Doctor’s appointments? Buying a house or a car? These are all things that we pair with becoming an adult in society. But, as we all know, God sees things differently. He has a different idea for how to “adult” in life, and Pastor Jeremy Johnson, Lead Pastor of Fearless LA, begins to break down this thought in a brand new series, named “Adulting.”

In the first sermon of this new series, Pastor Jeremy breaks down what it means to “adult” in the Kingdom of God. Paul talks about how we must put away childish things as we grow and mature in Christ, beginning with our thoughts. Our minds are childish and immature by nature, and some people unfortunately never grow out of this way of thinking. But when we renew our mind daily, intaking what God has in store for us through His Word, our perspectives change and our thoughts become mature. This gives us the first steps we need to live an adult, Christian life.

This Sunday, we had our very own Pastor Jeremy Johnson preach another fantastic message as part of our Royal series at Fearless LA! Everyone of us has missed the mark at some point or another. Thankfully, Christ's crucifixion gives us the redemption we long for. We no longer live for us, but it is Christ who resides within each one of us. There's a reason why the early followers of Jesus were called Christians (Little Christs). We are no longer just living for God under the law, but AS christ.

As a result, our thinking has to be transformed. We are SURROUNDED by God's presence. A presence that cannot be compared to the earthly things around us - which provide a false identity. Earthly happiness is fleeting, but JOY through Christ is immeasurable.

We often can become scared of showing people the real us. The fear, shame, and guilt that we tend to suppress. Jesus took these things to the cross but WE have to mentally train ourselves to remember this: We are no more sinners; we are saints.

Indeed it can hurt when people don't like us or reject us as we mature in our faith. This only confirms the Christ in us! Wherever we go, we carry God's presence with us.

In this week's powerful message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson continues our series ROYAL. We must have our minds right before anything! Your mind determines the direction of your life, what you think about yourself matters. We have to believe before we can have the confidence to walk into our destiny. If you think you can, you’re right. If you think you can’t, you’re right. God does open doors. God also closes doors. Sometimes we can mix those up. We walk through open doors thinking it was God. We stop knocking at closed doors because we feel defeated, thinking it's an attack of the enemy. Be encouraged today knowing that He renews our minds and His mercies! This key will help us to unlock the doors that have been waiting for us to unlock them through His royal authority.

Every story has one thing in common: an author was involved in the writing process. Each book ever written was created by an author who simply had a story to tell. This is precisely how God treats us with our individual lives. God has amazing storylines and characters in mind for your life today, but how often is it that we try to take the pen away from Him? In our anxiety and fear, we hijack the writing process, thinking that we can write a better story then He can.

In this special sermon, David Turner, Youth Pastor of Fearless LA, tackles this subject along with the idea that God is the ultimate authority in our lives. Because of this, God puts people in our lives as authorities to teach us how to serve under them. This allows us to humble ourselves and, in turn, be raised to a position of authority in our own right.

On this week’s podcast, we continue our series on Royalty. Our wonderful Children's Pastor, Dalisha Munton, shares a powerful message on the incredible authority and power we now have access; because we are royal.

Through the sacrifice of the cross, Jesus gave us a new bloodline and royal identity. The old habits, mindsets, and behaviors passed down by ancestors can be replaced through Jesus perfect, healthy lineage. We no longer have to  live in sin, bound by comparison, complacency or compromise. Instead we have the opportunity to live a truly royal life which displays confidence, humility and honor.

This new royal life is anchored by confidence in Jesus; not by circumstances, possessions or our abilities. It cannot be shaken. It allows us to walk in humility instead of insecurity. We get to celebrate our gifts while recognizing whom our strength comes from, God.

Royals create a life of honor by choosing humility in action. We choose to honor people even when they do no deserve it. This royal culture creates an atmosphere ready for miracles.

Pastor Dalisha teaches us about the empowerment through Jesus to walk out this  royal paradigm. We are encouraged to take back our worship and step into a life of full surrender to Jesus.

Did you know that when you’re going through trials, and feeling the weight of the world, the pressure you face has nothing to do with you? In this weeks amazing message from our very own Pastor Christy Johnson, we dive into how to let God do the “how” and the “when”; and instead get ourselves to focus on the “trust” and “surrender."

God isn’t trying to prevent the pressure in our lives. He allows it for a reason, to reveal His all-surpassing power! If there’s no pressure, there’s no power. If it’s perfect, then we don’t require anything; hence we don’t need the power! The pressure points back to him. Take heart in knowing that God will not waste your pain!

This Sunday we had another great message from Pastor Jeremy Johnson as part of our ongoing ‘Royal’ series.

We are worthy and valuable. Romans 3:23 tells us “We have all sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” Most of us tend to focus on the "sinned" part of this scripture, but we can also take a look at the “glory” part. God has given us a righteous standing through Christ Jesus. Jesus died AS our sins, not for them, and for the marks we sometimes miss in our Christian walk.

God is trying to restore us to the status we had in the garden of Eden. This is to be the person each of us are called to be before the fall happened in the garden. God can restore our feelings and thoughts about ourselves that the enemy works hard to instill within us. It is impossible to hate ourselves yet, love God.  Are you buying into an augmented reality that the enemy has lied to you about? John 8:32 tells us “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

If a prince for example, is put into a slum environment; does that change his royal status?

Has the devil given you a name that makes you feel powerless? Or has something been spoken over your life that causes you to not see yourself the way God does?

Have you ever found yourself just simply learning about God rather than having a friendship with Him? Did you know He actually calls us His friends? He says we are His friends if we do what He commands! On this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson continues the life changing series, Royal. He teaches us that friendship with God and obedience to God go hand in hand! He calls us out of slavery from sin, changing our name to Saints! The enemy will try everything he can to attack your friendship with God by throwing lies at you in the form of names. But God has another name for us, and we can enact our call by accepting that new name! We are royals.

This past Sunday we celebrated Mothers day at Fearless! Our very own Pastor Christy Johnson, joins us and shares a wonderful message on the power of knowing our royal identity.

1 Peter 2:9  tells us "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession." We are made in God's image. As such, we wield the powers, abilities, and unique callings God has granted to each one of us. In the book of Genesis, we see Laban whom tricks Jacob into servitude for 14 years. After Jacob serves the time, Laban seeks to bargain with Jacob, who cunningly chooses the weaker speckled and spotted livestock of the herd.

Laban, fails to realize that Jacob has carved and placed a spotted stick in the watering hole that can influence the solid livestock into reproducing spotted and speckled offspring.

Proberbs 23: 7 tell us "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." What is your personal watering hole? Is there any pollution in the watering hole of your imagination thats fooling you into believing a false identity? It may be to irrigate and clean out the well; by replacing your thoughts with God's.

On this week’s podcast, we continue on with the life changing new series, Royal. Pastor Jeremy Johnson of Fearless LA shares the 5 questions that drive the actions and motives of all humanity.

Who Am I?

Where am I from?

Why am I here?

What can I do?

Where am I going?

Through scripture we see how God designed a unique purpose into the heart of each person. To reach our full potential, we have to return to our maker and His instruction manual, the bible.

Delving into scripture we learn, "Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord ’s purpose that prevails." - Proverbs 19:21. The path to success is locked into how God designed us individually. The key to unlocking our destiny and achieving true success is found only when we are obedient to God's word.

God is more committed to our success than we are. His word is full of promises He is waiting for us to hold Him to. He wants us to be filled with faith to move on them.

Pastor Jeremy shares how God placed His logo on us by creating us in His image. This is a seal is a sign of His love and a guarantee of our success. He makes us successful for His name's sake. The fact that we bear His image and name means we have divine back-up when we step out in faith; or get into any trouble. God is waiting for us to be Fearless and step out into purpose.

What in your life is affecting your identity in christ?

Has past experiences been holding you back from recognizing your royalty status?

This past Sunday we had a special message focusing on royalty. As we go through life, we inevitably come across people and situations that seek to undermine our image of ourselves as God made us.

At times we can become frustrated with how people treat us and what goes on in our daily lives. This makes it all the more important to remind ourselves of our royalty, and the special relationship each one of us has to God.

The word tells us that Jesus was "despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering and familiar with pain." this lets us know that through our walk, we can be rest assured that he understands us as he's gone through the same struggles. The price Jesus paid for us on the cross, solidifies our royalty status in him.

What are you still holding onto that Jesus has set you free from? What shackles are you remaining in that you no longer serve? God is not calling you into bondage, He’s calling you into freedom!

This Easter Sunday we are reminded that because of the ultimate sacrifice on the cross, we are made free and do not have to walk in bondage any longer. Jesus died a slaves death on the cross for us, and through that we have been redeemed. On the cross, Jesus didn’t make just the minimum payment, He paid it all. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The cross sets us free but the empty tomb invites us into life and out of death. Whatever it is that you are walking through today, Jesus says, “it is finished.” Paid in full. You have been set free from everything that once held you captive.

On this week’s podcast, we continue on with the incredible new series, I Love My Church. Pastor Jeremy Johnson of Fearless LA demonstrates the importance of sowing seeds on good soil to produce fruit that remains.

Through scripture we see that God does everything in our lives through the sowing of seeds. The soil unlocks the seed in our lives, however, if there are weeds in the soil, those will grow too.

We see that good soil unlocks true potential in the seeds that we sow. What we reap depends on our hearts position.

When we want fruit to remain in our lives, the only way to keep it is to create deep roots. The word says, “When we have a ready heart, the insights and understandings flow freely. But if there is no readiness, any trace of receptivity soon disappears.” -  Matthew 13:12 MSG

Pastor Jeremy teaches us that magnified and multiplied blessing is in the seed of the fruits in our lives. Fruit is for the present, seed is for sowing. We are encouraged through this podcast to bring our soil out of a temporary pot and get planted where we can grow and create deep roots in faith, family, and community.

On this week’s podcast special guest, Pastor Onterio Green, preaches an amazing word during the sermon, Detours to Destiny.

Pastor Onterio reminds us in this message that we have been called and anointed for such a time as this. Like Joseph, God has a plan and calling on your life. He uses examples from  Genesis 37: 1-11 NKJV to show different detours you may find yourself in.

Purpose -  One of the hardest things to comprehend once you find it. When we find purpose, we walk and talk differently. There will be people who don’t understand why you are different and they might try to bring you down.

Pit - When you say yes to God, the spiritual warfare over your life becomes greater. Spiritual forces try to bring you down and even if you do everything right, you end up in a pit. Sometimes God will isolate you from people, so that you have to rely on him and not on others. He’ll take you from isolation to revelation to elevation.

Potiphar’s House - Serving someone else’s dream will give you the ability to  birth yours. Either you see yourself as a slave to someone else’s vision or a servant to someone else vision.

Prison - We are tested under pressure. The key to unlock the prison door is all about integrity. When we have integrity,  especially behind closed door, God allows breakthrough.

On this week’s podcast, we continue our new series by looking at the differences in the Body of Christ. Pastor Jeremy reminds us that God chose you to be a part of the Body because of your capacity, not because you are the same as everyone else.

Jesus simply teaches us that the Body of Christ is just not one part. For the body to function healthily, every part must do its job. For we are all baptized by one Spirit into the body. We are not baptized to God as a different race, culture or social status but rather we are unified in Spirit. The Body is united in its differences. Disunity in the body results in death.

We look at scripture and see 8 reasons we are called to function as 1 unit.

1 Corinthians 1:12-37

1. An attack on one part of the body is an attack on all parts of the body.

2. The differences in me do not exclude me, they make me indispensable. They make you valuable.

3. For the body to function healthily, every part must do their job, they must function.

4. A whole body full of one part is not the body (It’s a character on Monsters Inc.)

5. The body always covers itself by covering its parts and while covering, seeks to restore.

6. It’s God who puts the parts in their place and gives them their function. (So don’t ask tone the eye)

7. The heart working on being the eye, not only forfeits the power it has, but always falls short and effects the whole body.

8. Unity is not for organization only, it is for function in life.

On this week’s podcast we dive deeper into our new series, I Love My Church, and learn about what it means to have the Breaker Anointing. We also look at the difference between a consumer and covenant church and why it’s important to take ownership rather than just being an attender.

To be a breaker you have to go first. You are a pioneer. To be a breaker you will have times of failure, mess-ups and a lot of the time it won’t make sense. There will be times you feel alone, but God will break you into a situation to break others out so that they can break through whatever it is holding them back. God has made what used to be difficult to live in, a place of praise.

13 “The breaker goes up before them (Break In); they break out (Break Out), pass through (Break Through) the gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, and the Lord at their head.

Micah 2:13 NASB

Doing life together as a church isn’t always the easiest thing. It is not like being a consumer at your favorite coffee shop, where you love it until they switch things up. Consumer church and relationships won’t do. To be the body and the bride there has to be covenant in our relationships. Covenant relationships seeks to give, not to get. Like a commitment to marriage, you stick through the good times and bad. A covenant is a choice, not a contractual relationship, it is something you fulfill.

As we continue this series, “I Love My Church,” we dive deeper into what the First Church looked like and how we are called to be a family through thick and thin. This week, pastor Jeremy also teaches us what it’s like to be a Guardian in God’s Kingdom.

What is church? It’s a family with a Father, and it’s alive. In a family you’re going to have to get messy at times and roll up your sleeves and protect one another. At the center of what God loves, he rules the Church. Jesus is the head of the Church, and we are the body. When we start becoming the Church, we fall in love with it and with that, with that we might need to realign from time to time when times get hard.

In this family, God’s going to ask you to remove certain things from your life but will always replace it with something better. He may ask you to put off bitterness and put on forgiveness. Leave pride behind and gain humility. We will be called to leave behind selfishness, disrespect and impatience and put on self-denial, honor for authority and patience.

To be a Guardian is to be a 1) Defender 2) Protector 3) Keeper of God’s Fire

“The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously: it must not go out.”

Leviticus 6:13

As Guardians, we are going to tend, defend, protect and keep the flame going as God brings new power and life though what we bring to the altar. We are called to be worshippers and warriors and we bring the fire with us through sacrifice.

On this week’s podcast, we dive into a new series called, “I Love My Church”.  After a life changing 3 days at Fear Not Conference, Pastor Jeremy Johnson preaches the importance of unity inside of the Church and how that alone can create a paradigm shift. We are reminded throughout this sermon that when you take ownership in the Church, you have authority. God wants to give us a key, and that authority creates major change. Even when things get messy, we can be comforted in the truth that Christ rules the Church. Though it may not make sense in the physical world, having Jesus at the center of it all creates 3 things:

1) Multiplication

2) Paradigm Shifts

3) Empowerment

When we do things together as a Church we can feel God act, speak, heal, and move. Without it, we are only a piece of the body.

Ephesians 1:20

20-23 “All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.”

God is in charge of everything from galaxies to governments. It’s about time we start living in His authority over our lives and believe in the major change that can and will happen when we come together as one.

On this week’s podcast, pastor Jeremy Johnson teaches us the importance of unity inside and outside of the church. During our very first Conference Sunday, we are reminded of the supernatural shifts that happen when we focus on going after the broken. Our own emptiness seems to fade away when we see the emptiness of others. When it comes to our salvation, pastor Jeremy challenges us to think of those in our lives that need to know Jesus. Like the story of Elisha and the Jar of Oil, there might be something in close quarters that just needs a little faith to transform. (2 Kings 4 :1-7) Rather than an empty jar, it could be a friend, family member or coworker that needs a touch from God. When we seek God as an empty vessel, His power and mercy for us overflows. As long as we bring Him our emptiness, Gods power will keep flowing and we will be transformed. With conference around the corner, it is times like these where we are asked not to stay silent but to step out in faith and invite those around us into the life we have already been given. It’s not if we’re going, but it’s who we are bringing that changes things.

On this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson preaches a powerful sermon about the specific call God has on each of our lives. This Super Bowl Sunday, we are reminded that when we walk out our calling, we should walk in expectancy and know that with Jesus, the battle is already won.

Matthew 22:14 says, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” We are reminded through this message that although saying yes to Gods call isn’t always easy, it is always worth it. Gods plan is specific for you and your call cannot he rubbed off by fear, pain, shame, or insecurity. If God has called you, nothing can withdrawal you from it.

Don’t wait another moment to follow what God has spoken over your life. You have been called to conquer and to keep moving forward. You have all the right equipment and the power of God on your side to live out His perfect plan in your life. The hurt you have walked through and may be holding onto might be the thing God uses to do the supernatural in your life. Are you ready to embrace the call that God has on your life this year?

On this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson speaks about the importance of fasting and how the Bible calls us to do so. As we approach Fear Not Conference with expectancy, its important to “clean house” and make room for new breakthrough to take up space in our lives that might be a bit covered up. When you live in a place long enough, things tend to get messy, even with good intentions. Pastor Jeremy reminds us that fasting helps us to throw out what’s unnecessary, see the work Jesus has already done in our lives, and realign ourselves with truth rather than emotions.

5 Things To Remember About a Fast:

1. Fasting is not about God touching us, it’s about us touching God and actively seeking Him out.

2. Fasting is not a fight with the devil, but it might bring on an attack.

3. Fasting is not just for the spiritually elite. It is for everyone.

4. Prayer is the most important part of fasting. They go hand in hand. Prayer changes things.

5. We need fasting because anything that has been lived in long enough will get messy, out of order and chaotic. It is a form of realigning yourself with truth rather than emotion.

What has God given you that has been hiding under all of the mess of pain, offense and fear and hurt in your life? What are you expectant for during this 10 Day Fast?

On this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy continues our Fear Not series with a sermon titled “Territorial Spirits.” In this message we are encouraged to think bigger and to get back up when we are knocked down, not just for ourselves but for the nations that God has entrusted us with. It can be easy to forget that there is a fight of territory our lives but we aren’t called to let fear and smallness stop us from all that God wants to give us. We’re reminded in Isaiah 54:2-4 to "Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You're going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You're going to take over whole nations; you're going to resettle abandoned cities.  Don't be afraid - you're not going to be embarrassed. Don't hold back - you're not going to come up short.”

On this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy challenges us to Fear Not, as we continue on with our first series of the year. We are reminded that when we walk with God, it is impossible to fail. Although we live in a world that is overwhelming, filled with anxieties, uncertainty, and “quick fixes” that often fall short, Jesus gives us only one answer: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Matthew 11:28-30. Through this, we are simply reminded that in the darkness of uncertainty, hope gives us the ability to move forward. When we focus on Jesus, we also focus on hope. In life, it can be easy to find ourselves trying to move Gods plan along in our own timing or fall back from His will when we become burnt out. Let us focus our eyes on Him with anything, and continue to follow these 4 steps:

1)    Believe

2)    Abide

3)    Follow

4)    Repeat

In this podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson of Fearless LA rings in the New Year with a word on patience when it comes to Gods promise in our lives. On the first Sunday of 2019 we are reminded that it is okay to be given a promise and not yet be living in it. Gods timing is not always automatic, but his word never returns void. As we walk into 2019, we can cling onto the truth that only God holds the power and the plan over our lives, and all we have to do is let Him and His timing bring it all together.
